RE: Questions about the WBO - Blitz - Jun. 12, 2009 Think Anu means why has the Glass face been taken away, as it isn't on the face collection list anymore. RE: Questions about the WBO - Rocky - Jun. 12, 2009 So you're right......hm, I have no idea. Sorry. RE: Questions about the WBO - Bey Brad - Jun. 13, 2009 We decided the awarding requirements were too vague to keep it. RE: Questions about the WBO - Giga - Jun. 13, 2009 What is upper gathaki btw? RE: Questions about the WBO - Khel - Jun. 13, 2009 what? RE: Questions about the WBO - Rocky - Jun. 13, 2009 Upper Gattyaki.....iirc, it was the reason behind Dei's Clear Face? Or some sort of Face....I'm guessing that one as it was the previous topic of converstaion. I could be wrong but I believe it's when you launch the blade later and try to land on top of it? Either that or it's when you launch the blade earlier and try to hit the opposition out of the stadium....the latter makes more sense name wise but I thought Deikailo generally used the other type....hm....in any case, its som sort of Gattyaki variation. :X RE: Questions about the WBO - Khel - Jun. 13, 2009 Oh I remember Deikailo's technique, it was pretty insane. You couldn't even see it happen. I wasn't sure what Giga was referring to. RE: Questions about the WBO - Deikailo - Jun. 13, 2009 Been wondering this for a while: I've noticed on the users online column, some users have their names italicized and some don't - what's the difference? My Dei senses are tingling... (Jun. 13, 2009 9:22 PM)Giga Wrote: What is upper gathaki btw? It's when at launch, you shoot earlier than your opponent by a split second. You launch directly at your opponent in mid air to either hit the tip of your opponent's blade, or just a direct hit. Generally, your Beyblade has to be close in weight or heavier. Because you've just applied a forward force, you push it out of the stadium before it lands. I did this to Brad. He kept thinking for the first ten times, he mislaunched. I told him I was just repeatedly hitting him in midair. The idea behind the concept is you check the height of your opponent's launcher above the stadium, and the angle and motion of his/her launch. From that, you just launch in the path that the Beyblade will drop. This doesn't work when your opponent using a Beylauncher because the tension on the string draws your opponents launch slightly backward. MFBs make it harder, but not impossible because the surface area of the "base" is much smaller than plastics. I got to the semi finals of the East Coast Championships with this combo because of this technique: AR: Driger V WD: Ten Balance BB: MBD No way I should have gotten that far with that combo. ...Should I write a Beywiki article for this? RE: Questions about the WBO - Aqua - Jun. 13, 2009 (Jun. 13, 2009 10:52 PM)Deikailo Wrote: ...Should I write a Beywiki article for this? Maybe it can be written about in a sub-section of the "Gattyaki" article, as a variation of Gattyaki. RE: Questions about the WBO - Anu - Jun. 13, 2009 (Jun. 13, 2009 10:52 PM)Deikailo Wrote: Been wondering this for a while: I've noticed on the users online column, some users have their names italicized and some don't - what's the difference? Some are Blader Passport Holders and others are not I guess ... RE: Questions about the WBO - Rocky - Jun. 13, 2009 Not totally sure but I'm thinking people who have donated? RE: Questions about the WBO - Pich - Jun. 13, 2009 My names not like that, though.... People who have donated extra, it seems, have an italicized name. RE: Questions about the WBO - Deikailo - Jun. 14, 2009 (Jun. 13, 2009 11:17 PM)Aqua Wrote: Maybe it can be written about in a sub-section of the "Gattyaki" article, as a variation of Gattyaki.Yeah, this seems more plausible. I think I'm the only one that can do this variation, right? To be completely honest, even I don't know how it's done preciously. I just do it so I'd probably have to cowrite this with Anubis after various tests and recordings. RE: Questions about the WBO - Pich - Jun. 14, 2009 My brother does it, but he probably wouldn't be able to help right an article or anything. RE: Questions about the WBO - Bey Brad - Jun. 14, 2009 It appears being a member of the Beywiki editing group cancels out the name. But yes, italics are for passport holders. I'll see what I can do about that ... RE: Questions about the WBO - KING - Jun. 14, 2009 umm...how do you add people to your buddy list? RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Jun. 14, 2009 (Jun. 14, 2009 3:31 PM)JAPANDA Wrote: umm...how do you add people to your buddy list?It should be : User CP - Buddy/Ignore List - Add Users to your Buddy List. RE: Questions about the WBO - Anu - Jun. 15, 2009 Is ZenX part of the Committee anymore ? I'm guessing no because his username is "normally" coloured ... RE: Questions about the WBO - Bey Brad - Jun. 15, 2009 (Jun. 15, 2009 8:38 PM)Anu Wrote: Is ZenX part of the Committee anymore ? He hasn't been for quite some time. He is too busy right now. RE: Questions about the WBO - Giga - Jun. 27, 2009 I cant veiw peoples posts in their profile for some reason. RE: Questions about the WBO - Anu - Jun. 27, 2009 (Jun. 27, 2009 6:04 PM)Giga Wrote: I cant veiw peoples posts in their profile for some reason. Same. RE: Questions about the WBO - G - Jun. 27, 2009 Same with me. We can just wait for Brad to see what he can do about this. RE: Questions about the WBO - Bey Brad - Jun. 27, 2009 Will work on it. Thanks guys. RE: Questions about the WBO - Bey Brad - Jun. 28, 2009 Fixed. RE: Questions about the WBO - Pich - Jun. 28, 2009 I've been bumped out of the group Sysops on the wiki and can't edit anything anymore. Guess Cye had the problem too? Can you fix that?
