Dude, thats the same thing I said... What Kai-V meant is, some people don't improve at all. About your last statement, I think someone is forgetting Jacksonian... RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Jun. 11, 2011 Oh, believe me, bad graphics makers still get a lot of requests on this site ... How about only the mods are allowed to rate the thread? I mean, you have that 1 star, 2 star thingy... If a mod rates that, it'll be similar to youtube's reputation system.... Honestly, there is absolutely no need for individual threads for each graphic maker. RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Jun. 11, 2011 (Jun. 11, 2011 5:37 PM)th!nk Wrote: The point is, none of this "growth" would be prevented by moving it to a single thread. Honestly, there is absolutely no need for individual threads for each graphic maker. Well yes! Why didn't I think of this before! Your reason is correct, and it reminded me of a famous thread in Your Creations, the Poke-Fusion Lab. The sig shop thread should be like this thread. What you do in this thread is, you explain what you want. We follow the same format for sigs you know. Then, we choose a member from the list in the OP, whom we wish to make the sig for us. Such a thread will just PROSPER! Let someone like Kai-V make the thread, list all the members who make sigs, and add ratings next to their name, example- Sig makers we have- th!nk **** Janstarblast- ** Kai-V- ***** Then, every new sig maker will have to PM Kai V to be added in the list. If required, Kai-V may test them, as she herself is an amazing sig maker! RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Jun. 11, 2011 We discussed this on the previous page. Problem is, that'd be waaay too much work for Kai-V, or any mod for that matter RE: Questions about the WBO - Glad Hatter - Jun. 11, 2011 Over-all the main problems with your idea is that not everyone is satisfied with their sigs, which will most likely upset the sig makers. If your running a sig shop like a business then what do the sig makers actually get out of their work (that as I mentioned before) may not even be used? This plan may ultimately fail, adding to what th!nk said, There may not even be enough decent sig makers willing to make these in the first place. Problem is, that'd be waaay too much work for Kai-V, or any mod for that matter well in that case the thread should not be created as i think people will gonna spoil that thread and going to get warnings and i also think that there is no such thing in mybb engine that mods can open a topic in which no one else than kai-v or other mods posts and modify is there so please correct me if such thing is there than it's the best solution (Jun. 11, 2011 5:59 PM)Jacksonian Wrote: Over-all the main problems with your idea is that not everyone is satisfied with their sigs, which will most likely upset the sig makers. But it is not good to lie that you were not the person, that got banned. Besides, If you are planning on becoming a Committee member[Even on a new account], there is no way you can get a 100% warning level on the older one, and even if you did, you wouldn't try to evade the ban, and take it like a man. RE: Questions about the WBO - Dragoonrocks - Jun. 12, 2011 (Jun. 12, 2011 6:19 AM)Electric Wrote:(Jun. 12, 2011 3:41 AM)darkblader12 Wrote: darkblader12's post..Electric's post.. Ya and moreover the mods can easily find out who you where by checking your ip address...Hence from the beginning they would have known that "you" (I am not meaning anyone in particular) were the guy who got banned earlier... RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Jun. 12, 2011 Well, if you were IP banned, you'd not be able to make an account without a new IP, and IP addresses aren't static (and even those, unless you pay for them, change every so often). RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Jun. 13, 2011 Well, reply to ongoing conversation- Well, first thing, no one will act dumb enough to state- U BANNED ME! Yes, there are some exceptions, which a psychology professor or student may explain better(You know the reason why I say this, I hope.... th!nk). Other than that, if someone is banned due to SPAM. There is always room for improvement. You don't get a 100% right away, you know (except you are rup123). If you actually don't improve and get a 100% warning after 10 reminders, then of course, it qualifies as bad conduct. If I were you, I might try to get to this site from a different IP, just so that I could talk with some admin or mod. After that, I might insist and explain everything to them. If they agree, then you are free to come back. If not, then you'll have to leave forever..... Aw, thinking of it gives me goosebumps! What if I were really banned! I would actually die of depression, you know! Not a joke. RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Jun. 13, 2011 (Jun. 13, 2011 3:45 PM)Janstarblast Wrote: Well, reply to ongoing conversation- They are not exceptions. Obviously a lot of kids end up being banned here because they apparently never read the rules or never cared about making intelligent posts, so they do try to come back and they almost always let it out that they were banned. Plus, they have still not improved the quality of their posts anyway. No, nobody should try to come back with a different IP address, obviously this will only worsen their case. There is a clear "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page, and that is how banned users should attempt to contact the Committee. RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Jun. 13, 2011 Well, so that button was for the Committee? I thought Contact Us meant Contact people who created My BB... Well, so that does it. Thanks Kai-V. RE: Questions about the WBO - Xlr8 - Jun. 13, 2011 (Jun. 13, 2011 4:04 PM)Kai-V Wrote:(Jun. 13, 2011 3:45 PM)Janstarblast Wrote: Well, reply to ongoing conversation- well agree with u also remember there was a indian blader who was baned 3times well it's a sad thing that they don't improve RE: Questions about the WBO - Minho - Jun. 14, 2011 im here with one of my friends... Ledger and want to verse him to gain or lose BP. how do i do it? RE: Questions about the WBO - RustyXD - Jun. 14, 2011 You have to enter an official tourney and the matches you battle in at the tourney effect your points , you can just randomly battle somebody for beypoints... RE: Questions about the WBO - Minho - Jun. 14, 2011 ohhhh... carp so u have to enter an OFFICIAL WBO tourney? RE: Questions about the WBO - blah - Jun. 14, 2011 Yeah; you have to enter an official WBO tournament. RE: Questions about the WBO - Blitz Unicorno - Jun. 14, 2011 IDK where this question really goes, but I think this goes here the best. If I buy a Blader Passport, say, tomorrow, will it expire on June 15, 2012 or January 1, 2012? I think it is the former, but I thought I should confirm it. |
