I Am Number Four - JonnB - Jan. 16, 2011 A new Movie coming to Theaters soon. It seems very interesting to me and its based off a novel by Pittacus Lore, the pen name of authors James Frey and Jobie Hughes. The Novel is set to become a series of books. It basically revovles around nine "special" individuals that are being hunted down in sequence. Three are dead so far. John is Number Four. Directed By D.J. Caruso and Produced by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg In Theaters 2.18.11 [Image: I_Am_Number_Four_Poster.jpg] Movie Website: http://www.findnumberfour.com/ Official Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5djHG3hPu0 Trailer 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oP6zhpST3Ro RE: I Am Number Four - Dude - Jan. 16, 2011 I AM NOT A NUMBER! I AM A MAN! By the way, anything that Michael Bay is related to isn't worth my time (or money, for that matter) RE: I Am Number Four - JonnB - Jan. 16, 2011 Hah I woudn't say that. I happen to have high hopes for this film RE: I Am Number Four - Thresher - Jan. 16, 2011 (Jan. 16, 2011 4:43 AM)Dude Wrote: I AM NOT A NUMBER! I AM A MAN! Come on what about Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, I mean not everything he does is Revenge of the Fallen. Az for the movie, it doesn't wow me. If I don't hear a LOT of good things about it, I'm going to skip it. I might Netflix it later. I hope I'm wrong and it is a great movie, but that isn't likely. True Story: Producers usually only bargain for budgets, shooting schedules, the effort the studio should present on a film, and as an advisor for the director. They rarely have any sort of actual affect on how the movie turns out. RE: I Am Number Four - Dude - Jan. 16, 2011 I know, but it's exactly the part "advisor for the director" that worries me. Wouldn't you listen to the guy that got you your budget, no matter how idiotic his decisions might be? But yeah, I guess it is unfair for me to judge that movie based on just the fact that Bay is involved. There is also Spielberg, after, that might balance it out. (The Rock was made by Bay? I loved that movie ![]() RE: I Am Number Four - Thresher - Jan. 17, 2011 (Jan. 16, 2011 11:29 PM)Dude Wrote: I know, but it's exactly the part "advisor for the director" that worries me.http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/article/steven-spielberg-tells-michael-bay-transformers-2-is-awesome http://www.slashfilm.com/steven-spielberg-thinks-transformers-2-might-be-michael-bays-best-film-new-trailer-cut/ I wouldn't put too much faith in that RE: I Am Number Four - Zeox - Jan. 17, 2011 I came in expecting this Spoiler (Click to View) RE: I Am Number Four - Moneymaker23 - Jan. 17, 2011 Personally, anything Micahael Bay I've always loved, but that's your opinion. RE: I Am Number Four - NoodooSoup - Jun. 17, 2011 Sorry for the necro, but I've started reading this book, and it's really good! There's not many books out there that get me hooked, but this one sure did. I can't stop reading it ![]() But I haven't finished it yet, so no spoilers please (or put them in spoiler tags). RE: I Am Number Four - Ga' - Jun. 17, 2011 The books were awesome, but I heard the movie was pretty bad... EDIT: The curse of Eragon ( ;_; ) continues. |
