Is Hitting the top of a bey illegal?
Absolutely all of these things you're "informing us about" are very, VERY old news, especially to us. You should probably read the Beywiki in general, as all of these launch types are mentioned there...
Gattyaki is not illegal.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - PkRaNgEr - Apr. 26, 2012
Damn im gonna come up with my only bey-launch change the angle and aim to smash it of the stadium and the recoil and bounc will hit a bey in the middle? i tried it i worked this is good for all type of beys that could destroy the bey before they even attack you

That is not remotely reliable, and when it fails, you'll lose pretty much all of your spin velocity.
The only time that trick was remotely reliable was plastics, and even then it was really rare that it actually worked.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - PkRaNgEr - Apr. 26, 2012
That tru it does greatly reduce it velcity could you just about to launch it launch it really hard forward whil pushing it a bit up? so it moves at great speed giving a big blow and potenially one hit out of stadium if good enough
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Hazel - Apr. 26, 2012
That is not the kind of risk you ever, ever want to take if you're actually trying to compete.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Kai-V - Apr. 26, 2012
This is becoming off-topic, because it is not really something we would want to teach to Beyginners ...
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Hazel - Apr. 26, 2012
What not to do is just as important.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Kai-V - Apr. 26, 2012
A simple note to explore at their own risk something that is not written would suffice, hah. Negative suggestions also seem more initimidating, less kid-friendly.

Have we got a not what to do in beyblading forum as suggested we should . ill be a top contributer on there!

The idea is this for to be a sanctioned WBO project.

I will post my Guide up tonight or tomorrow. I realized how much editing was left to be done. It looked quite bad while it was posted.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Dark_Mousy - May. 02, 2012
Here is what i have so far. The next part will cover Top Tier parts for Plastic/HMS/MFB. Will also include what to buy and explain why each part are good to use.
Beyginners Guide
This guide will cover the basic aspects of both Beyblade and the World Beyblade Organization.
Our first topic will be some basic points on the WBO
• Beypoints- Are earned by winning matches in official WBO tournaments. Beypoints are not given for HMS/Plastic tournaments
• Search is very useful to find questions that have already been answered.
Beywiki Is a comprehensive encyclopedia for Beyblade. It’s being constantly updated with the newest information.
• BladerPassport will get you into WBO events free for 1 year. This does not cover possible store/convention fees.
• Take a moment and read the Rules . This will help you greatly. Getting a warning is never fun for anyone.
• The Beyblade Metal Fusion Metal Masters Hobby is designed to talk about the hobby of Beyblade. Not the anime. This is specifically for the toy line.
• News – This is where news regarding the WBO is special WBO events will be posted.
• Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos
Here is a list of particularly useful threads, especially for beginners
Now we are going to cover more of the different topics in the WBO.
Introduction Thread
The introduction thread is a place for you to introduce yourself. It’s not for trying to organize an event or for anything else.
Customization Forum
Please be specific. If you know the name of the part (eg. Tiger Defenser is the AR of Driger S), please use it; if not, please post the exact model you got the part from (eg. AR: Driger S).
Explain the concept. A Beyblade that is strong against one type of Beyblade in one type of Bey Stadium will work entirely differently in a different situation. Please tell us how your Beyblade is supposed to work.
Bey Marketplace
[spoiler]
The Bey marketplace is where you can go to buy & sell Beyblades. Just remember when making deals with other WBO members, please remember to use caution. The WBO is not responsible for the outcomes of exchanges that occur in this forum. In the Bey Marketplace there are several sub forums.

What to buy: Courtesty of Poseidon
(Aug. 21, 2011 8:47 PM)Poseidon Wrote: #17 Starter Dragoon Grip Attacker
Dragoon Grip Attacker's Grip Base has possibly the most aggressive BB created. It has a wide rubber tip, making it the fastest and strongest BB. Unfortunately, they are hard to come by now, so if you see one it is advised to get it.
#18 Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger
Metal dragoon Bearing Stinger is a very good purchase for survival type bladers. Unlike bearing core, MDBS has more pure survival potential. Also, bearing base can hold 2 shield bearings so when hit, the BB doesn’t take as much damage. #32 Starter Draciel Metal Ball Defenser
Whilst Draciel S is a better option in pure defence, Draciel MBD outshines its upgrade in compact combo. The small size of the metal ball base gives high spin velocity and fits the criteria perfectly.
#34 Starter Dragoon S
Storm Grip base is one of the best parts released for upper attack. The flat rubber tip, low height and light weight make it a must own for all bladers. It is advised to buy more than one because the rubber tip wears out quickly. Furthermore, the beyblade includes left SG castings which have many uses in zombie/survival combos. #35 Starter Driger S
This should be a main priority for all bladers. Tiger Defencer is one off the best attack rings created due to its many uses in all areas off the metagame. SG flat base, when launched straight can even outlast wolborgs bearing core; when launched on a slant, it acts as aggressively, similar to SG Metal Flat 2.
#47 Starter Kid Dragoon
This is a great purchase for attack and defence enthusiastic. Upper dragon is simply one of the best attack rings for upper attack due to the long slopes. Furthermore, it is one of the best attack rings for weight based defence due to the heavy weight and circular shape. It’s advised to own more than own of this due to its many uses. Alternatively, it is also advised to buy master dragoon because its the same beyblade realised in white.
A-2 Starter Dranzer S
This is a great purchase for all bladers. Firstly, the SG castings can hold driger F's tip which allows it to be used in a great smash attack custom. Furthermore, spiral change base is possibly one of the best bases for OS zombie combos..
A-3 Starter Galeon
War lion is amongst the best attack rings for defence the sub attack ring takes all the blow leaving the rest off the bey virtually undamaged. This is the best choice of ARs for grip based defence.
A-11 Booster Wolborg
The SG is the only real reason to own this beyblade. It's one of the best parts to own in zombie customs, the bearings reduce the loss of spin when hit. however it is advised to buy the takara version due to the pointed at the tip and being more aggressive.
A-14 Starter Draciel S
SG metal ball is a great part for defence type bladers. The tip tends to stay towards the centre of the arena, so it easily avoids attack types. By adding an extra set off metal balls and a HMC, metal ball base is one of the most popular bases for defence.
A-17 Starter Trygle
Trygle's triple wing's amongst the best attack rings for smash. Usually, smash leads to recoil, however the problem is almost non-existing with triple wing. This is a must own for attack type bladers.
A-24 Starter Driger F
Driger F is a great choice for atack type bladers, the flat metal tip provides high speed and when used with dranzer s's castings and SG defence grip 2, is amongst the best attack type customs you can get.
A-39 Booster Wolborg 2
This is a great bey to own for defence enthusiasts. SG bearing core version 2 makes it so that the friction between the beyblade and stadium is increased, making it harder to KO than its proceeder. It’s also advised to own multiples off this bey as the rubber tip wears over time. A-69 Starter Dragoon V2
Dragoon V2 is one of the most useful buys created. Customise base can be used in multiple ways; with the removal of the tip, you can use a bearing core in the BB, opening up several option for its use. A-75 Booster Driger V2
Driger V2: Its Upper Claw+Upper Attack makes this Beyblade a must-have for all upper attacker enthusiasts! Customize Change is one of the best balance type bases, it’s a great update of the Metal Change Base (Driger S),also it can hold and a SP
It's one of the best Beyblades uncustomised. It's advised to purchase the Hasbro version as its more reinforced.
A-77 Booster Vortex Ape
The only reason to buy vortex ape is for the SP ( Defence Ring), which can be used in both survival and defence. The small "knobs" lend themselves well to spin stealing and the shape gives it good defence.
A-78 Booster Gaia Dragoon V
Gaia dragoon V's SG Metal Flat Base 2 is one of the best BB for attack, unlike rubber bases, Metal Flat Base 2 is slower and not powerful, but being metal, it has more stamina.
A-81 Booster Dranzer V2
Dranzer V2 is quite a useful beyblade to own. Firstly, the AR has some upper attack however it should be noted that both upper dragon and triangle wing have more upper attack. The SP is vital to both survival and defence types. The 4 knobs lend themselves to spin stealing and due to the extremely circular shape, is a decent defensive part.
A-82 Booster Burning Kerberous
Bearing core 2 is one of the best survival parts created, it can hold 2 NSK bearings so when hit, it can regain balance easily because of this. The core has very high endurance when shot straight and can even out spin wolborg's bearing core.
A-85 Booster Draciel V2
Draciel V2 is worthwhile purchase for the SP, Fin Tector. In attack mode, Fin Tector has the best smash when compared with all the other SP.
Uriel 2
Uriel 2's BB is the fastest and strongest BB for attack created. The tip is made of rubber and around the width of grip flat core (ultimate version). When used with fin tector and triple claw, it is the best attack type. However, the BB is prone to breaking and is very hard to find as it released in a random booster.
A-89 Starter Dragoon G
Whilst the rest of the bey is neglected, eight spiker has the best smash for left spin attackers. Unlike a lot of useful Ar's this is by far the easiest to obtain, and the most affordable.
A-94 Booster Driger G
Driger G's Triple Tiger has both good smash and upper attack. Whilst it's smash doesn't compare to trygle's, nor its upper compare to upper dragon,it cannot be argued the AR is still one of the strongest and is a worthwhile purchase.
A-95 Booster Metal Driger
Metal Driger is one of the best beys to purchase for attack and defence. The prized part of this bey is undoubtedly the Heavy Metal Core (HMC). The advantages of using this in attack are that it significantly reduces recoil; for defence it increases weight, making ti harder to KO. It is advised to buy multiple of this bey.
Important note: Hasbro released this beyblade without a HMC and replaced it with a EG, rendering this bey useless. A-117 Booster Dranzer GT
Dranzer GT's Triangle Wing is one of the most powerful AR's for upper attack. The design is similar to upper dragon, however it is worth noting that Upper Dragon is better in right spin, however, Traingle Wing is better for left spin. A-129 Booster Zeus
Zeus: There are 2 moulds: one Takara, one Hasbro. The Hasbro one, comes with a normal EG. The Takara one comes with a free shaft bearing core!
Its AR+S-AR works incredibly well due to the fact that is a free movement AR! Furthermore, the use of the sub ar with another ar, able to hold a sub ar, holds it in place, giving it huge attack power. Wide Defence
Wide defence is the most useful weight disc available for attack. The indents create smash attack, unlike any other weight disc, making it a great purchase. Also it is the heaviest ED, so makes a good choice for defence customs Wide Survivor
Wide survivor is a completely circular weight disc, ideal for stamina customs. Whilst it may seem quite costly for a weight disc, it is incredibly useful and moderately rare. Accessories
Customise Grip
Some of it is preference, some of it is comfort. Most players tend to use these if they can.
Stadium
A-93 BeyStadium Attack Type (Tornado Type)
This is possibly the most balanced stadium created. For testing or battling competitively, this is the best stadium to buy.

Plastic Top Tier List:
Useful plastic discussion threads
Something similar to this Brad? Currently i dont have the top tier list for plastics. The thread is so messy i coudlnt find anything. Also realize this is an extremely rough draft. Also will cover the basic types of Plastics IE attack, defense, Survival(Zombies) And go into more detail of course. I like the idea of this project. Ive always wanted to do something similar to this. Just never did until now.
RE: BEYGINNERS: Basics of Beyblade - Galaxy - May. 05, 2012
I created these Threads for the Italian Community.
Maybe this can help, I know that maybe no one of you will understand Italian language, but these Threads explain how you can build a good Stamina\Attack combo.

I'm planning to write also a guide for Defense\Balance\Anti Meta\Spin Stealers.
If you like the structure of my guides I can translate them and put them in the Advanced Forum or where you want, haha!
EDIT: This is the structure of the Italian Thread: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Costruisci-la-tua-combo-ideale
