From the Face comparison, I wouldn't say this is likely. RE: BB-24: Escorpio WD145B - Crimson - Feb. 13, 2009 If this wheel isn't heavy... I will cry. Face isn't bad either, Escolpio, and even though I'm not happy about the 145 track, I want to try out WD. RE: BB-24: Escorpio WD145B - Maz - Feb. 13, 2009 If it is heavy it might be able to take out libra. The new cookie cutter combo would be EscorpioD125D. RE: BB-24: Escorpio WD145B - Pich - Feb. 13, 2009 Hopefully this will be heavy. I love the red on the wheel, too. RE: BB-24: Escorpio WD145B - Kei - Feb. 13, 2009 I really hope this turns out to be better than Libra. I think the design of Escorpio is better. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Bey Brad - Feb. 18, 2009 Update from Takara-Tomy! [attachment=511]
Official name is Escolpio WD145B. For the Wheel: [attachment=512]
The description doesn't really say much except that it's good for Defense. [attachment=513]
For the Track, it basically says that there are ball shapes around the periphery of the Track to deflect enemy attacks. Not sure how well that will work with giant gaps in the wings. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Kai-V - Feb. 18, 2009 I can confirm that WD stands for 'Wide Defense'. Also, I will try to look at the description of Capricorne later. There is an easier version of the text in the Information section. Jesus it looks cool. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Crimson - Feb. 18, 2009 Yeah, that track looks badass. I really want it, regardless of how good/bad it is. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Giga - Feb. 18, 2009 It looks like some militarian thing, awesome! RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Pich - Feb. 18, 2009 That track looks as wide as the wheel. Hope it doesn't break easy.... BTW, the name change of this sux, Escorpio FTW. =P RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Giga - Feb. 18, 2009 Quote:It is dense first feature after all The Return of the TRUCK :o RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Maz - Feb. 18, 2009 The track looks heavy as hell Could be upwards of 5g. It might be able to improve on the LibraD125D everyones using. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Sasch - Feb. 18, 2009 The japanese translations often read truck, it sounds very similar to track. It's called Escolpio due to the similarites of english R and L in Japanese. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Giga - Feb. 18, 2009 I thought we confirmed the Track was called Track though? RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Sasch - Feb. 18, 2009 See, you can't translate every language in the world into another one just word by word. I guess you know that. It happens while Japanese is being translated to English or english words are written in japanese that words pronounced almost the same get mixed up. It's "track", but as I said, translations or japanese descriptions sometimes read "truck". RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Aqua - Feb. 18, 2009 It's track, even according to Takara: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/beyblade/beyblade/index.html RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Giga - Feb. 18, 2009 Thanks guys RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Storm Pegasis - Feb. 18, 2009 I can't wait for the results of Escorpio in battle. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Aqua - Feb. 18, 2009 tahu mistika: Those are the parts for Escolpio in your avatar, right? If it is, it looks awesome, especially the track XD RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Evan - Feb. 19, 2009 If it was shorter it'd be amazing for smash RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Aqua - Feb. 19, 2009 (Feb. 19, 2009 12:48 AM)Evan Wrote: If it was shorter it'd be amazing for smash Definately. But I hate how so many blades come with a 145 track. RE: BB-24: Escolpio WD145B - Evan - Feb. 19, 2009 I'm hoping Takara realizes the potential and releases a WD105, especially since there are almost no smash Wheels right now |
