Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 01, 2007 November 13th is going to be an amazing day, am I right? I so have this on pre-order and I can't wait to play it. A lot of sites are already saying it has the potential to be the best Mario game yet, and that's just from playing preview builds of the game. I can't wait to see what they have to say in the reviews. Regardless, this game will be mine come the 13th. <3 Anyone else as pumped as I am? If not, don't bother posting. lmao RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Bey Brad - Nov. 01, 2007 i bet it'll suck RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Ichida - Nov. 01, 2007 I might buy it. I'm gonna check out a few gameplay previews first, which is pretty much what I do before I decide whether or not to buy any game. I haven't really paid much attention to this game in the past, so I guess it's crunch time now. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - OSW - Nov. 01, 2007 if it's as good as Super Mario 64, it'll be worth it. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Kei - Nov. 01, 2007 I'm buying this for sure. Lol, I've been purposely trying to not watch any videos of it just because I know it'll be awesome anyways. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - SexyMichael - Nov. 01, 2007 I have high hopes for this. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Tototototototo - Nov. 02, 2007 It looks gorgeous and magical at the same time, so I will buy it. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - rooneyt - Nov. 02, 2007 im going to by it unless the revews are horible RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 rooneyt Wrote:im going to by it unless the revews are horible They won't be; I guarantee it. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Bey Brad - Nov. 02, 2007 OSW Wrote:if it's as good as Super Mario 64, it'll be worth it. That's a hefty bill. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 I honestly think this game has the potential to be better than SM64 though. But only time will tell. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 Just because it was the first doesn't mean it was the best. Playing Mario 64 on an N64 now is god awful. On my Wii it's tolerable because it has a more modern control scheme when you use the Classic/Gamecube controller. But I think Galaxy will surpass SM64, for me at least. Besides, its going to take everything about the Wii remote and use it correctly. A Mario game is never a bad thing. It almost always shows other developers what's up on Nintendo platforms and how to properly develop for them. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Ichida - Nov. 02, 2007 Roan Wrote:Playing Mario 64 on an N64 now is god awful. So play the DS version. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 Ichida Wrote:Roan Wrote:Playing Mario 64 on an N64 now is god awful. That's even worse, honestly. The D-Pad movement blows and the touch controls are not any better. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 Galaxy is going to be very different from previous Mario titles. I mean, its essentially Mario in space. You're walking around on little planetoids with varying geometry and gravity. There's also all of the new costumes and power ups. I think that's what is going to be killer about this game. Then there's the new controls. At this point all I really know about is the waggle to make Mario spin (Which I will admit is rather underwhelming), but I'm sure there's more packed in there. Augh, piss on the haters. This game is gonna rock my socks. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Bey Brad - Nov. 02, 2007 nintendo, enough with the waggle also, I haven't really LOVED any Mario games other than SMB3 and SM64. So we'll see how this is for me! The only Mario games i really liked were Sunshine, and Super Mario Bros. Advance. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Fleetscut - Nov. 02, 2007 sunshine was alright for the first few hours but after that it got pretty boring. though i have to agree SM64 was great. i would play it for hours. theres just so many worlds and so much to do. i even spent quite awhile on the title screen massing around with Mario's face. to bad you couldnt take pictures and save the faces you made RE: Super Mario Galaxy - mamph - Nov. 02, 2007 The only mario game I've ever played is the DS version as I never had consoles as a kid, it was ok but only that. I've since sold it. However, I ma interested in Mario glaxy so I may buy it.. as long as I haven't run out of money by then RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Roan - Nov. 02, 2007 1Up Gives Galaxy a 9.5/10 Mmmm gurl. Do want. http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3164124 RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Ichida - Nov. 03, 2007 Mario Sunshine? Pfft. Saving the world by spraying it with water is kinda weak, even for a video game series about a nigh-mute plumber who can jump abnormally high. Don't get me wrong, I love most Mario games, but Sunshine just seemed like a lame effort by eco-savvy developers to try and hypnotize people into becoming environmentally conscious. RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Bey Brad - Nov. 03, 2007 does anyone really remember that mario is a plumber? when was the last time he plumbed something? give him a wrench RE: Super Mario Galaxy - Ichida - Nov. 03, 2007 Maybe dual wrenches like daggers, measuring tape as a whip, or a freaking toilet snake or something, XD. |
