Just beat FF: Crisis Core.
Was looking to see if I could play PS1 games on my PsP, as it turns out, I have to mod the carp out of it to install custom firmware, to play the games, and possibly carp up a $50 battery. I could do the mods myself, but I'm pretty inept when it comes to dealing with electronics, so I'll probably buy some premodded stuff, and be set without the risk of wasting money.
I feel like a carp for not doing it myself. The plus side is, the premodded battery and memory card will look professionally done, and appearance is everything.

Looking at that site convinced me to mod my PsP. I was like "WTF, you expect us not to illegally download, but then not provide us with decent selection?".

Roan, Heavenly Sword and Lair, horrible? Really? I'm one of the 5 Lair fans, I'd advise you to download the patch for analog control. And Noriko's game is still good, not great, but hells no to horrendous, or terrible.

Yes. I finished Heavenly Sword and was horribly let down by it. It just felt so lifeless and uninspired. They had a lot of potential with that game but they ruined it in so many ways. The game was honestly one of the most repetitive games I've played in recent memory, and that's including Assassin's Creed. You're right, it wasn't really horrendous and not exactly terrible either, but its also sure as hell not a killer app for PS3 and it doesn't even begin to stack up against the level of (most) first-party 360 games.
I played Lair a few months back and got REALLY frustrated with it. I don't have the game now so I can't try out the new patch, but I've heard from a lot of people that while it does fix the controls, it certainly doesn't fix the rest of the game.
Also, you said it yourself. You are among a very small group of people who thought both of these games were good. Popular opinion seems to agree with me, as can been here and here.
Again, Heavenly Sword wasn't exactly awful, as most of the major reviews agree, but Lair... Well... lol

I said I was one of the 5 Lair fans, there are more Heavenly Sword fans than that my friend.
It kind of disheartens me that Folklore got so little publicity but it was one of my favourite console RPG's I played.

Yes because clearly games that have Metacritics of 79(Heavenly Sword), and 75(Folklore) are complete rubbish, and should be sold for no less than $3, right? Sorry that not every game can be a Metal Gear Solid 4.
I admit, Lair has a carp Metacritic of 53, but like all those reviews were before the patch.
