I need to play Assassin's Creed revelations NOW! I need to take on "Bald Guy with a cape!"

I cannot get Skyrim until the holdidays! It is driving me insane! =(

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Dude - Nov. 14, 2011

So, uhh... I guess this is video game-related and it is pretty random, so what the hell.

There's apparently gonna be a Persona 4 Play. Yes, with live actors in a theatre and carp.

Well, why not, really? We've already got an anime, a manga, spin-off games, tons of merchandise, a port to Vita, a Persona Store that will open in Japan and all kinds of other carp, so why not a Play?

My guess is that it'll be like the Bleach Musicals: Pretty good in terms of plays, decently following the source material, but quickly forgotten in the mist of media.

Wonder how it'll turn out, though...

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Temporal - Nov. 20, 2011

I'm scared of Sonic R. "Nooooo! Not the Tails Doll! Anything but THAT! Have mercy!" Geezums, was that game bad. I feel sorry for the money that went toward it, knowing that it was utterly wasted. Hell, the money knows it too. Poor little guys.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Shabalabadoo - Nov. 20, 2011

You know what I've realized? The only reason I've bought the Nintendo systems that I've payed for (All after N64), I bought it because of Zelda.

GameCube: Wind Waker
Wii: Twilight Princess
3DS: Ocarina of Time 3D (Will get Zelda 3DS, but it wasn't the original reason I bough my 3DS)
WiiU: It's innevitable.

The handheld stuff I got for Christmas or my birthday. N64 I got with Zelda, but it was a Christmas present. My parents had the original Zelda, but did get Zelda right away, although that doesn't count. There's only two or three of Nintendo's Zelda games that I don't have. I think it's Four Swords Adventures, Minish Cap, Links Awakening, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons. Carp, that's 5.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Hazel - Nov. 21, 2011

I bought them all for Pokemon games... except the Wii and 3DS, which were the Zelda titles you listed.

Gameboy Color: Pokemon Blue
N64: Pokemon Stadium
Gameboy Advanced: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire
Nintendo GameCube: Pokemon Colosseum
Nintendo DS: Pokemon Diamond

Oddly enough, SSJ, I have all of the Zelda games you do not.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Wizard - Nov. 21, 2011

Only Zelda games I need are Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass (Used to own it, but I traded it in at Gamestop), Four Swords, Links Awakening, and Skyward Sword. Other than that, my collection is complete. XD

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - NoodooSoup - Nov. 21, 2011

I bought my systems for different games, all Nintendo, of course Tongue_out

GameCube: Mario Party/Animal Crossing (the dawn of my video-game love; the game that made me love gaming)
DS: Pokemon
Wii: Animal Crossing
3DS: Animal Crossing/Zelda

Yeah, I like Animal Crossing. There would've been more Zelda there, but I bought my GameCube, DS, and Wii before I was introduced to the beauty called the Legend of Zelda.

Gasp You traded Phantom Hourglass ! Smithicide That's disgusting, haha. WHY WOULD YOU TRADE IT!

I don't really like Spirit Tracks. It's super repetitive.

I swear you have a 3DS right? Four Swords free?

Get Skyward Sword. Now. Not later. Now.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Hazel - Nov. 21, 2011

I'd get Skyward Sword if it wasn't WM+ only.

Not into realistic sword waggling, and I don't have WM+, so it'd cost quite a bit more extra.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Primal - Nov. 21, 2011

Get WM+.
It's definitely going to pay off (no pun intended).

With my luck, all of the stores in my area are going to be sold out of Skyward Sword by the time I go searching tomorrow.

My life will be incomplete. Unhappy

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Shabalabadoo - Nov. 21, 2011

Just spend like, $20 more for the special edition bundle.

It really isn't exaggerated like they advertise. You don't even need to swing it 6 inches for it to register what move you want. You know how in Twilight Princess people just shake the remote? It's basically just that except start in the right direction, haha. Although you can over exaggerate it for fun though!

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Hazel - Nov. 21, 2011

Eh. I'm placing it pretty far below a 3DS + OoT and Pokemon Rumble on my priority list.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Primal - Nov. 21, 2011

Pokemon Rumble isn't that good of a game IMO. If you're talking about OoT 3D, then by all means get that over Rumble.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - NoodooSoup - Nov. 21, 2011

Plus it comes with an awesome soundtrack of the Zelda games! I say it's worth it.

Spirit Tracks holds a special place in my heart since it was the game that made me love Zelda (I had played OoT before, but I never got into it). Yeah, I started playing LoZ late...

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Hazel - Nov. 21, 2011

I liked Rumble very, very much, so I know Rumble Blast is what I want. My next gaming purchases will be OoT + PR, and I'm getting a 3DS for Christmas.

Couldn't care less about soundtracks, to be honest.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Shabalabadoo - Nov. 21, 2011

Dude, get the super sick Special Edition OoT 3DS that I wish I had instead of my blue one.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Primal - Nov. 21, 2011

Phantom Hourglass is what got me interested in Zelda. Has to be one of the hardest (and most fun) games in my Zelda collection, though.

Naw, I like the blue one a lot. My favorite color of blue, pretty much.

Really? I never found PH difficult in the slightest... then again, the only Zelda game I've ever seen any remote difficulty in whatsoever was Link's Adventure.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Primal - Nov. 21, 2011

Actually, considering the last time I played it was about a year ago, it's probably less difficult now.

I think I know what I'll be doing when I'm bored out of my mind in Louisiana.

RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Shabalabadoo - Nov. 21, 2011

Adventure of Link, gawsh.

It's not difficult, but the story's insane in my opinion. Just some parts are ridiculously odd, like when you have to close the screen to press the maps or whatever together. How could anyone figure that out!

YES, DO IT
I'm buying it with birthday money.
The golden harps and ocarinas, and that border too! And how could I forget the LoZ Crest?
Boy oh boy!

Same here
I loved (still do) Phantom Hourglass. I love how you control it.

Spirit Tracks lost me. I had it downloaded, and played it a little. Glad I didn't buy it before testing it out.

First off, I'm getting both. Second off, no. I already have OoT on N64 and from the Wii store, so I'm only really getting it for more portability.
