CuJo

Too busy watching the Flyers lose to notice CuJo played. Ugh, we're last in the league again...

a shirt for $100 isn't that expensive you know..

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - To - Oct. 14, 2008

I walk by LeChateau a lot, and the clerks always give dirty looks...

Oh yeah, if the Flyers go 0-6 this season (I suspect they'll be 0-3-0 tonight) I'm calling 2008/2009 The Quest For John Tavres and cheaper contracts.

RE: Random Thoughts 2: ok, more like misc. thoughts - V2 - Oct. 14, 2008

some people have lots of money, some people little. What is cheap to someone can seem like a ridiculous unneccesary extravagence to others, such is its relativity.

I'm disappointed that the so called 15 gram Circle Wide only weighs about 14.5 grams Uncertain

That would make Draciel MS almost completely worthless.

Quote: A giant catfish is eating swimmers in an Indian river after developing a taste for flesh by feasting on corpses, scientists claim.

The Sun reports that the goonch species may have picked up the habit from eating the remains of Hindu funerals, where mourners place the bodies of loved ones on floating funeral pyres that are sent down the Great Kali river on the India-Nepal border.

Biologist Jeremy Wade is leading an expedition in the area and claims locals told him the fish have grown in size over the years.

He proved that for himself by snaring a huge specimen that was 3m long and required three men to carry it.

"If that got a hold of you, there'd be no getting away," he said.

The most recent suspected victim was an 18-year-old Nepalese boy who was dragged down by something described as an "elongated pig" while swimming last year.

The first victim was another teenager who suddenly disappeared in the same manner decades ago, before a child was taken before his father's eyes a few months later.

A documentary on the phenomenon will screen on UK television next week.

The movie adaptation is just waiting to happen.

You had one of the first generation ones, right? It's ridiculous that they were charging $9.99 for the 2.0 update. I was so annoyed when they announced the new one. Thankfully, I was able to return my old one (it hadn't been 30 days yet since it was purchased) and bought the new 8gb iPod Touch.

yes
actually someone at school wanted to buy it used to $150, i said no lol (it's saved my carp at so many school test, teachers dont suspect anything when you have a ipod, <3 the wifi and notes)

but tbh, i'd rather have the old version, because of the easy jailbreaking
i lost my whole "ipod game collection" (lol), which included pretty much every single NES game ever released, Super Mario World 3and Mortal Combat for Snes and alot of GBA and GBC games

I tried applying to volunteer at a wolf sanctuary in New Mexico. The spaces were full for the period I wanted to work during, but they apparently have some places left for the summer. And I have NO CHANCE of being able to travel to the US during the summer.

I seriously want and need to do this...so i've sent a couple of begging emails poleading to be allowed in. No reply, and the thing is, my email isn't working properly, so some messages aren't being received! So i don't know if they're just not replying, if they've yet to get around to reading it, or if they've not been recieved!! I dont know what to do.

this is frustrating, and I REALLY want to go and volunteer there

It's most likely that I won't be able to since the places will probably be taken. I'd be SO gutted if I wasn't able to ='[

I wouldn't mind volunteering for adopt a husky, which is vaguely similar...

Seriously adopt a husky rules, since huskies rule. Not just because they look like wolves, but they have such personality and love running (which is both awesome and not so awesome)
