There are a few threads for this, hence why we have the "Whats your beyblade team name?" Thread. It won't ever come into fruition, since it adds nothing to game play.

Well, the interest for team formats has become quite popular especially recently, but I highly doubt the committee will revise the rulesets for a team-based format. While so, I've been meaning to look into the possibilities of integrating a form of team-based format for our local tournaments, as in, side tournaments that don't fall into WBO jurisdiction. The Japanese have a good 3-on-3 team format with fighting games at Tougeki Super Battle Opera, so I figure it would be an interesting idea to play around with.

But just to say this again, I highly doubt that the WBO will be introducing a team-based format, based on geological and logistical reasons.

there's been a discussion on it already, it won't happen.

To the Beypoint System, you are only one person, not a team.
