Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 02, 2010

Hi guys!

So I was just toying around with some parts(particularly my Flame ring). I realized that my Flame ring was thinner than my other rings. When I put it together with my 100 track, I noticed the bey was super low. Then i put on the B bottom and tested it. I found that because of its height, it can attack super low parts of the opponent(given the opponent is tall enough). So here it is:

Any face
Any clear wheel (Bull/Aquario would be the best choices. What we're looking for is weight to increase the Bey's defense.)

Flame metal wheel (Found in FSaggitario & FLibra. If you don't have one, Burn will work, I suppose.)

90/100/105 track (90 from Quetzalcoatl, 100 from L L-Drago, 105 from Pegasis, Storm Pegasis, or Galaxy Pegasis)

Any bottom (B, BS, WB, and WD work best)

If you have any suggestions please post them, I am still trying to improve this design.

RE: Flame 100B - 桃太郎 - Nov. 02, 2010

1.What kind of Stadium did you use?
2.What Beys did you use against this?
3.How was each Bey shot?

These are some of the questions you must ask yourself before you post a Thread. With results, we can determine whether your combo is good or not.

To answer the first question, the MFB Attack Type Stadium is the one that's necessary to perform tests. Any results in other Stadiums will be rendered invalid.

For the second question, you need to test your Beyblade out against our top-tier Beyblades. In your case, your Bey seems like a Stamina or Defense Type, so it's wisest to put your Bey against a top-tier Stamina Bey. See this for top-tier combos:

http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Competitive-Metal-Fight-Beyblade-Combos

For the third question, you must tell us which Bey was shot first, or whether you chose to do shoot in an alternating manner. However, when you test Attack Types, the Attack Types are always shot after the opposing Beyblade, which is supposed to be a top-tier Defense Type.

Currently, the Beyblade "Earth (Mold 1) Bull 100WD" is under close examination as it is a potential top-tier Stamina Bey. Your combo is not too different from it. However, it's very likely that Flame will not perform as well as Earth Mold 1 on a lower Track. Also, adding a Metal Face on a Wheel like Flame is generally not advised.

RE: Flame 100B - felofilipino - Nov. 02, 2010

Do some researching.
This is called a destablizer.

RE: Flame 100B - lord Wolfblade - Nov. 02, 2010

also sf and f would be better tips than b, bs, wb, and wd

RE: Flame 100B - 桃太郎 - Nov. 02, 2010

Uhm, this thread is about Flame 100B. Not 100SF, or F. If this is his combo of choice, he just needs to test it out is all.

RE: Flame 100B - Byser - Nov. 03, 2010

If you're going for a destabilizer, which is what your description appears to call it, you should remove the metal face. A destabilizer does not need the extra weight; it will reduce its stamina, and as a destablizer it shouldn't worry about recoil much.

Also for future reference, you don't need to say what bey each part comes from. Most people here will already know that, and if not, it's easy to find.

Other than that, Momo summed up pretty much what you should do for testing.

Yep, MFB Attack Stadium. Tested against Earth Bull C145WB. Flame 100B launched first at around 70% power. Earth Bull launched at 60% power. Well my plan from the start was to hit the opponent's spin track by staying in the middle and waiting for the opponent, so C145 didn't do Flame100B too well. But he still had stamina so he won. Buuuuut then I tried Gravity Perseus (right spin mode) with about the same amount of power and Flame 100B lost. Of course, Gravity Perseus is much stronger, but I was really having high hopes..... Anyways, I could still use some help on what clear wheel to use.... Anyone? Oh and I'll remove the MF part.

@lordWolfblade, F would make it an attack type, SF would make it balance - neither of them are the type I'm looking for.

RE: Flame 100B - Deadpool - Nov. 04, 2010

I will try to test this out myself , unfortunately,I dont own , nor have access to an Attack stadium.

RE: Flame 100B - Byser - Nov. 04, 2010

You should be able to launch your Flame 100B combo at full power. B bottom shouldn't move much even with a full launch. The only combos that really need to be launched with lower power are ones using WB.

For the clear wheel, you want one that is for the most part smooth around the whole perimeter, like Cancer, or another Bull if you have one. The clear wheel shouldn't drastically effect the performance though , unless it's something like Libra.

RE: Flame 100B - darkdrago654 - Nov. 04, 2010

thank you it worked good because all of my opponents have tall beys now that i have 23 beys because of the other 4 you recommended.

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 05, 2010

darkdrago654
No prob, hehehe, but this is still a prototype, so it might get even better.

Byser
Thanks for the help with the clear wheel, too bad I don't have Cancer.....

RE: Flame 100B - darkdrago654 - Nov. 05, 2010

if it does get better just post.

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 06, 2010

Hi guys! I just found that BS give the bey more stamina. I just need to find a final way to increase weight. Anyone?

RE: Flame 100B - 桃太郎 - Nov. 06, 2010

Don't use BS. Since it's an S-Series Bottom, it suffers greatly from its poor balance. I have two, so I'd know.

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 07, 2010

Ohhhh... too bad. But you can use the Thermal ring for extra attack, though.

RE: Flame 100B - darkdrago654 - Nov. 07, 2010

post #14 is right dont use BS it lowers the balance

RE: Flame 100B - Mc Frown - Nov. 07, 2010

Flames thin-ness doesn't make it lower at all :V

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 07, 2010

Ohhhh ok so I can use Thermal then? Coz it has more attack power.

RE: Flame 100B - Mc Frown - Nov. 07, 2010

I think Thermal + SF would be an interesting pair.

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 07, 2010

Indeed, but that would be out of what I'm looking for: decent Defense and Stamina.

RE: Flame 100B - Mc Frown - Nov. 07, 2010

Wouldn't a standard defense combo with B/WD be what you're looking for then?

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 07, 2010

Nah, this can hit the opponent's spin track.
P.S. second page! yay!

RE: Flame 100B - Mc Frown - Nov. 07, 2010

But then you're moving into the attack spectrum.

RE: Flame 100B - Jellyboy - Nov. 07, 2010

Oh. Uhhh, FS/SF would be good then. But I still like Flame 100B.

RE: Flame 100B - ghatre - Nov. 11, 2010

i use rock not flame because rock has slants that reach even lower than flame and it has gaps for more power to "topple" the opponent, mixed with a bumpy or slanted wheel like aries bull and especially cancer its deadly.

custom "rock aries 100b" works nicely for me. (btw my b is a little worn so it has much the same effect as sf but more deffence).
