I'm fairly decent at Halo 3 and Gears of War 1/2 but other than that I'm not so great at competitive games either.
Also, I play most single player games on Easy difficulty lol Although I have beaten Halo 3, Gears 1 and 2 on the hardest difficulty settings.

With fighting games I just take the most broken character I can beat people with without using specials.
Jump Ultimate Stars is the only exception because unlike other fighting games, you can just press X to do your special.

using a mouse helps x1000000, atleast with FPS games (majority of what I play)

I usually place in the top 4 at the Smash bros tournaments that go on in my area, not really good at any other games though.

I have no problems with the 360 as a console. For fighters other than DOA however, it just feels un natural, especially for those of us who's first fighter was SF2 for the SNES. PS3 is a more natural feel

Haha yeah no worries man, I just did it to cause some discussion in here, i think i knew i'd get ripped into.
I agree, the 360 isn't really the best off for fighting games unless you can track down an Arcade stick, I think i only kept SF4 for a couple of days before returning it because of the D-Pad, Arcade Sticks are pretty much a pain to get ahold of down here, I'm not a fan of forking out $200 + $300 ish to play a game a bit better. Really considering getting a PS3 again and ditching my 360, the PS3's getting some great games im looking forward to more than whats coming for the 360, I don't think I'll ever get my priorities right this Gen and will probably switch between a PS3 and 360 numerous times lol.

I think you can build a stick for a decent price.

i suck at video games too (except fifa 09..during my "fifa prime" i beat norway's #1 ranked player)..only game i have finished on normal difficulty is killzone 2, the rest i had to play through on easy lol. though i haven't touched a videogame for almost 3 months now =/ and i'm not really interested in anything coming out untill fifa 2010 gets released
