They're really cool. Microraptors are one of my favourites, they had four wings.

I've also always found Iguanodons/Vectisauri to be really cute.

Four wings? Cool.
I've never really been into Dinosaurs, but I do love T-Rex. It's like, the most badass Dinosaur. =O

RE: DINOSAURS - AnnieDuck - Oct. 09, 2007

Recent research shows that much like lions, T-Rex was mostly a scavenger. ;D

RE: DINOSAURS - G - Oct. 09, 2007

Well it's not really a dinosaur, but I'm a fan of the Megalodon shark. It's the closest prehistoric thing to a dinosaur that I like.

RE: DINOSAURS - Alice - Oct. 09, 2007

I think most kids go through the phase of loving dinosaurs - I know I did. Then it moved onto the solar system, then wildlife, then beyblades...

Oh, wait.

Oh, wait.

What's funny is the degree of love that children -- particularly young boys -- feel unconditionally for a species that has not existed in millions of years. I'm pretty sure I would've died in the name of dinosaurs.

Pft ... it's pretty big ... I guess ...

Damn, I wanted to post Dinosaur comics. I never got them, until this year.

How'd you get a signed book, Brad?

Oh, wait.

My cousin has an entire playroom filled with nothing but dinosaur figures and playsets and stuff. It's a little creepy. XD.

o yeah i remember that. you went there right after dinner right?

RE: DINOSAURS - Tototototototo - Oct. 10, 2007

My old avatar used to be a T-Rex flying a jet plane. Basically the sweetest thing ever. I'll probably switch back because dinosaurs are just that awesome.

As a kid, the only magazines I would buy were dinosaur magazines. Each one came with a toy fossil bone of a dinosaur. If you got them all, you could make the dinosaur. Also, dinosaurs are SWEET.

My second childhood love. My brother and I owned every book, and it's the series that got me into reading comics.

RE: DINOSAURS - Tototototototo - Oct. 26, 2007

Oncogene Wrote:Oh sure, some "scientists" will tell you that the T-Rex was most likely a scavenger, and that there were other larger, more fierce, dinosaurs that existed. This, however, is just propaganda perpetrated by the anti-tyrano movement.

Some facts about the T-Rex:

- It could jump in distances up to 3 miles.
- It is estimated to have the capability to reach land speeds of 290mph
- It's roar caused small seismic quakes.
- It was the only dinosaur to survive the meteor crash. It lived on for several hundred years before it eventually died out due to lack a food source. (They sustained themselves for awhile by eating each other.)
- It's skin was roughly as durable as a 6" sheet of bronze
- Could hold its breath for up to 3 hours underwater
- Had anywhere from 6000-7000 teeth, all of which could penetrate any substance on earth at the time.

Yeah, they were pretty cool.
this man knows the truth
