Will the beywiki ever be updated with older plastic/HMS beyblades? I'd like to help but it doesn't seem to let me register.

You just enter your login information from here onto Beywiki. It is the same. However, we want you to post your drafts of articles in the Beywiki Project forum before publishing them officially on Beywiki.
Also, whether there are updates or not entirely depends on people's will to write new articles. And "people" refers to almost everybody.
