spray paint??hahaha..generally, tamiya brand or mr color would be fine...
if you can afford air brush, it would be better..XD

Looks nicer than the normal one I think.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Ingulit - Apr. 06, 2013

I made my first step into recolors and customs today, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I saw the Hasbro VariAres awhile ago and realized I could swap some of its parts with the parts on my regular VariAres and still have it be fully functional (and tournament legal?)! I swapped both the red tabs that show when the plastic parts are retracted and the red bottom, and now I have a fully yellow VariAres!

I did put the red parts on the Hasbro VariAres, but it was still ugly so I didn't take any pictures lol

Wow, those look incredible! Great job dio! I especially like the color scheme of Driger.
Now that I think about it, why weren't Driger GT and Draciel GT real in the first place?

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Cannon - Apr. 18, 2013

Those look awesome ! Great job.

Love the bit chip stickers. They were partially taken from the anime, yes ?

Also, do you have pictures of the bottom ?

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Tri - Apr. 18, 2013

Those look just amazing. Good job dio.

Interesting use of galzzly and Cyber Dragoon's ARs. Wonder if anyone else can understand what you did haha.

Hello friends , My friend zeneo has done some re-paints of some beys. So here are some pictures of dem!

1. Meteo L-Drago Flakes Of Gold Version!
2. Gravity Perseus Neon Darkness!
3. Killer Beafowl Ruby Version!
4. Flash Orion Frozen Flames Version!
Note : These beys are not Re-painted by me! Its by zeneo!

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Izhkoort - Apr. 30, 2013

They really nice

how much paint was use on L-Drago and Perseus?

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Cannon - Apr. 30, 2013

They look a bit .. 'gloopy'.

The Killer Wheel looks best.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - zeneo - Apr. 30, 2013

I made 5 coats on each re-colour. I worked hard on that Flash especially. It does look gloopy due to bad lighting. Actually, the Killer/Evil metal wheel was my least favourite...

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - LMAO - Apr. 30, 2013

I like all of hem except for the Meteo L Drago, it was painted a little too heavily. Also, Meteo looks so good just by itself! Otherwise, nice paint jobs Zeneo!

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - zeneo - Apr. 30, 2013

I know that the Meteo is heavily painted, hah!
I kind of over-did it I guess.
Meteo looks good white, black and red, but seeing the L-Drago Destroy Golden Armored Version, I couldn't stop myself from painting it golden.

Or it's because of that.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - zeneo - Apr. 30, 2013

No, not exactly, Cannon.
5 coats were given so that the paints dry, then another coat added will make it easy for the paint not to chip off.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Cannon - Apr. 30, 2013

If the layers are too thick, the part will be made very distinct of it.

Use a clear coat or something.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Izhkoort - Apr. 30, 2013

Zeneo, Cannon is right, the real thing is mastering a two or three coated pieces, specially with metallic painting (harder to paint, but is technique more than number of coats)

Just one coat is a little to risky, if you use one, you have to do a base colour before

Trust me! I'm a wargamer!

(I couldn't resist to say that phrase LOL)

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Ultra - Apr. 30, 2013

Not sure but wouldn't more coats build up and make the paint more easily chip off? Techniques aside they look good especially the Flash Orion. That one looks awesome.

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - zeneo - Apr. 30, 2013

Thanks a lot Ultra.
I'm actually new to re-colouring, so basically, when I think a bey have nice grooves to paint, I paint it.
Imagine painting Dark Clear wheel, hah!

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Izhkoort - Apr. 30, 2013

more coats are really messy with the design, it often erase details like little designs or round the edges, but yes, it can be more prone to chip off

RE: Your Re-paints And Special Customisations - Nocto - May. 18, 2013

I did something something similar with Revizer once; this turned out better.
