Help with design for this Beyblade + Making a Beyblade Manga/fan fiction. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

It's been half a decade since I last ever studied the design and science of Beyblades. So expecting me to make a Beyblade with acceptable performance statistics and 100% legal customization is sort of a shaky preposition. Heres the Beyblade...

Cognitive Rhinoceros [to be entered]

Face

I want to know, what kind of symbol would best signify a Rhinoceros? I mean in the creative sense. I am not just going to slap a picture of a Rhino on there and call it a Beyblade-style piece of artwork.

Suggestion 1: It should resemble a Rhinoceros blowing fire through it's nose, just like Pegasus.

Suggestion 2: A metal face with the emblem.

Suggestion 3 added: Rhino's foot with a background of smoke and debris behind it.

Wheel: Rhinoceros

I was thinking of a roundish-square design. But what would be a fitting pattern on the sides/corners? Would a repeating horn pattern suffice or does it need MUCH more detail? Could I integrate a design without it reaching further than the Metal Wheel?

Suggestion 1: The wheel shoul resemble a combination of Bull and Aries. A two bumpy-horned design to resemble the fighting style of a Rhino. And wright Rhino , in violent scratched writing on it. Because the wheel is like Leone , the clear wheel should have no design at all and should fit the gaps of the metal for the defensive dynamics.

Suggestion 2: Add no design at all?

Metal Wheel: Cognitive

I am thinking along the lines of a "gear" shaped wheel with a unique pattern. I want the width to be similar to Burn- though I need direction in making it look creative. Thats the point. What would be a legal design?

Suggestion 1 added: Someone brought up the idea that since this is Beyblade introduces Cognitive, it should have an attack design. Something like a "gear" with sharp attack teeth. Of course leveled out to reduce excessive recoil.

Suggestion 2 added: Another idea was brought up, this one saying the Wheel should resemble a successor to the Leone "Horoscope Series" wheel. Except more bulky and smash-worthy. Oh, and add some Defense dynamics too.

Suggestion 3 added: EDIT: Keep the weight intact, just reduce the recoil.

Suggestion 4 added: Go left spin- hard decision.

Suggestion 5 added: Instead of focusing on smash , how about on upper? Rhino's tend to jerk up their horns in the underside of an opponent .The design concept is similiar to the Pre-HWS Aries .

Track:

I was thinking of a low track, so I bit the bullet with this idea of a shorter version of Horn. Just go ahead and tell me if this is a bad idea, or just plain illegal for most combos.

Suggestion 1 added: Someone stated that the H100 should use a joining design that fits Cognitive.

Suggestion 2 added: Rhino has a ton of bulk to protect it from predators , so the track should be called T125 , no not tornado 125 , Tank 125.In order to compromize itself in both fields it must equivalent heights in each.It looks like M145.It is jagged for attack , and big and focused on the outside for defense.

Suggestion 3 added:

Third suggestion , track-SM100-Smash Mauler100.Just a BIG upgrade to H100.Like H100 it is jagged , and joined to the metal wheel , but instead forms a complete circle , and is free spinning.

Jagged edges-attack mode

Complete circle and free-spinning-Defense mode

Performance Tip:

Basically it's a regular sized metal tip with a reverse spiral pattern cut into it and a "bump" in the center of that spiral which supposedly allows multiple attack patterns. Could the effect of this design work at all? How legal would it be?

Suggestion 1 added: This bottom is liable to change to Momentum Attacker. A wide metal tip with the spiral cut into it just like the original idea.

Suggestion 2 added: Horn Crusher, interestingly enough a ball inside a rubber tip, to add an effect similar to Driger s I suppose?

Suggestion 3 added: SC. Stomping Crusher , a bottom designed for constant movement , no breaks. A rubber bottom , as wide as XF.Can cause heavy attacks , and reduce recoil.

Aaaaanyway......

Sorry if this seems like a blatant request- but it's sometimes better to take advice from an expert than go it alone all by yourself.

(IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT A MANGA IS BEING THOUGHT OF AS WELL, CONTRIBUTE IF POSSIBLE.)

Beyblades featured in this Manga

Black-Blade's entry;

Blaze Sagittario

Face-Sagittario

Clear wheel-Sagittario-Illustrates the body of Chiron , on each side.

Metal wheel-Blaze-A , smooth-looking wheel , which is roughly a circle , much like today's Burn.Except , it hides a rough texture , which causes friction when making with another bey.

Track-AR145-Arrow 145 has free-spinning " arrows " which absorb hits when hit.Very similiar to today's C145.

Bottom- AB-arrow ball a ball-like bottom with a sharp " arrow " bottom for equivalent fields in stamina and defense.

Second Entry

Poisonous Hydrus

Face : Hydrus

Clear wheel : Hydrus : Illustrates dragons swirling and encircling each other.

Metal wheel : Poisonous : And overall jagged design which is rather sloped which is good for both Smash/Upper attack.

Track: Rush Dragon 0.90 - stretches until inclined with the metal wheel. It opens a vent to blow air into to change direction.

Bottom : Viper striker : Bottom in the shape of a star in metal to create " slithering " movements.

Third Entry

Justific Libra

Face-Libra

Clear wheel-Libra-A picture that symbolizes an angel holding two scales on opposite sides of this clear wheel.

Metal wheel-Justific-A wierd named metal wheel , but in battle you wont be laughing anymore. It plays good in all three fields.

Track-CJ-Change Justice provides a unique mode switching mechanism , which changes height and allows opening for air to blow in to change movement.

Bottom-RMB-a metal bearing placed in a rubber bottom , so when hit can change modes from defence , stamina and attack.

Fourth Entry

Tempest Aquarius

Face : Aquarius

Clear wheel : Aquarius-A clear wheel that illustrates Hera , the goddess of love and marriage pouring water from a jar.

Metal wheel : Tempest : A much more spiked ver. of the Pre-HWS Aquario wheel , and the spikes face the other direction. This can cause some recoil , but it's worth it as this wheel delivers powerful Smash attack.

Track : D125

Bottom : FM- Fantasy Movement-a bottom with rubber and metal in random places. This creates slow, fast, sideways, straight etc. movemen , making it hard for players to determine another players move.

Fifth Entry

Aero Raven , feel free to post ideas of this new blade

Face : Raven ( since this is new I will post the Face pic. ) illustrates a Raven Wing with feathers in the background lining up , so it makes the word " Raven ".

Clear wheel : Raven-A clear wheel that illustrates the feathers of a raven twirling around and encircling each other.

Metal wheel : Aero-A wheel which resembles burn but the protrusions being more pronounced for smash attack , and being round for stamina.

Track-W 0.90-Wing-a track that lines up with the metal wheel that should increase speed and smash attack capabilities.

Bottom-FC-Flying cutter , is a rubber bottom , but , crested , for one way speeding direction. It resemble when a bird dives , it goes in one direction and accelerates by the second.

????????????????

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

Seems creative , like it.You should lay out drawn out plans on graph paper so people get the full picture.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - NerfMASTER! - Sep. 06, 2010

Sounds cool. I can just image it! But can you make some plans?

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - XBlader - Sep. 06, 2010

since your tip is for attacking,...... i think you should make the metal wheel have horn like designs for attack potential.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Yes, that will be done after I get enough suggestions. Or the topic is dead.

Stormaquario221: Pretty much the OP, I will update the OP with more feasible planning suggestions whence they come.

Xblader: Completely forgot about that idea, thanks. Smile

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

Or make the metal wheel like the Pre-HWS Leone wheel.Heav and bulky , with strong smash attack.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Demonicknight37 - Sep. 06, 2010

OOOOh me likey the idea i think your should have this facebolt
oops here is the facebolt ^-/^

actually...o./o i dunno

What an irrevalant post. Post something that can help him not spam his forum.Anyways , the face should be like pegasis , except a rhinoceros is seen blowing fire through his nose. And since the track height is 100 you should make the horns look like part of the metal wheel , this may cause recoil , so focus some of the weight toward s the center some way.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Your second AND THIRD suggestion is added.

DemonicKnight37: Well thanks but theres a specific way constellations, animal spirits, or Zodiac signs are portrayed on the face bolt. Like.... what would the profile emblem of the Rhinoceros in beyblade style?

NINJA EDIT: I type way too slow

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

An d I have ideas on the bottom. Contact me when you need them.
In reality a Rhino has to grip on the floor using the wide surface area of his feet to stop his momentum to take him into space. So the new bottom should be called MA ( momentum attacker ).It is basically a combination of RF amd WF. I have other ideas too if you dont like this one.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black Blade: Is it possible to make the tip of that combination just in Metal? I will add the suggestion.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

HC ( horn crusher ) a much wider and aadvance version of CS.In reality a rhino stands defensive and then gives sharp blows. This bottom will have a a small ball in a middle of a rubber bottom so when launched straight it is defensive and when threatened ( or in this case hit ) , it will have agressive movement to pound the opponent.Oh , and this reminds me , make the metal wheel more defense worthy too , when in defense mode.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Added suggestion.

(Sep. 06, 2010  4:15 PM)REtread Wrote: Black-Blade: Added suggestion.

Thanks , and now the recoil. We should lessen the weight on the outside for smash attack and put it on the inside to lessen recoil.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Added the adjustments.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

Or instead of lessening the weight of the wheel we should make a RUBBER bottom and a METAL face.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Suggestion for face and bottom added, weight kept intact.

Other: added a credits box to the OP for those who added suggestions.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Deadpool - Sep. 06, 2010

The clear wheel shoul resemble a combination of Bull and Aries. A two bumpy-horned design to resemble the fighting style of a Rhino. And wright Rhino , in violent scratched writing on it.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Annoying-Fork - Sep. 06, 2010

Black-Blade: Copied the Wheel idea to the OP.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - NerfMASTER! - Sep. 06, 2010

Well if you want a spin stealing Bey you could put Rubber on Congitive. And you could make it a left spin Bey for some more attack power.

Good , but by judging by the look , isn't that too expressive. It's like making a second Meteo L-drago.And Left-spin can cause haevy amounts of recoil , but we should keep that up there , nice job Aquario.
Or because the wheel is like Leone , the clear wheel should have no design at all and should fit the gaps of the metal for the defensive dynamics.

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - Demonicknight37 - Sep. 06, 2010

you should have the pegasis storm metal wheel it looks like a horns being thrusted in a circular motion and it has nice attack/defense power

RE: I need some professional design advice for this Beyblade. - NerfMASTER! - Sep. 06, 2010

Thx I got the idea from Meteo L-Drago. But we should try to make it BETTER that Meteo L-Drago!

Umm... read the OP , then you understand why we cant do that...

By judging this , this is his first homemade bey , it can be challenging to do that and remember , too expressive.
