...Uncustomized beys...

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Sep. 04, 2010

i said this is Part I. Part II will consist of Storm Pegasis 100RF and a undecided Aquario custom. Part III will consist of an overview of the stadium and Part IV will consist of pics, and if i have time, since school is starting soon, videos =D

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - ShadowPegasis - Sep. 04, 2010

...Why bother splitting it up? Just test it with top tiers right now.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Extic - Sep. 04, 2010

Seeing it in person, it's just another PTW. Seeing it described on Toysrus' website, they call it another PTW [they say it's a PTW, but they also call it the Lightning Force stadium, so I don't believe it was an incorrect description].
I don't know if the PTW has been tested, but if it has, then this probably doesn't serve any purpose.
Unless of course, TC, you have the PTW and this stadium, and have found them to be different.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - ShadowPegasis - Sep. 04, 2010

From what I've heard, LF is like the MFB balance stadium, where the center is flat.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - souless1234 - Sep. 04, 2010

Extic, did you happen to miss the thread saying PTW sucks? :l

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Sep. 04, 2010

does the PTW stadium have that ring? if it does, the rest if this review has no purpose. someone post a pic of the PTW stadium.

im dividing it into parts because i dont have as much free time as before (school starts soon)
the center is flat

The "Tornado Ridge"?

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - ShadowPegasis - Sep. 04, 2010

The ptw has an extra slope or "Tornado Ridge" in the center. The LF, however, is flat in the center.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Sep. 04, 2010

someone just post a pic of the PTW stadium. i wanna see if any notable differences exist between the PTW and the LF stadiums. if there is none from what i can see, this review is over.

This is, or appears to be, the same stadium.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - souless1234 - Sep. 04, 2010

Leonwind can you confirm if the stadium is flat in the center, I doubt that this matters because PTW is pretty much flat as well.

[Sarcasm] Not like it's on Google Images or anything. [/Sarcasm]

...Cant you just post a picture of the Lightning Force stadium for everyone?

Or did you mean one in person?

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Corey - Sep. 05, 2010

In person, obviously.

I know how to do an image search >.<

Well, I mean, when it looks exactly the same as a PTW, and when I've said before then when I saw it in person it felt the same as a PTW in terms of slope.... I don't see how it will change from an in-person picture.

But yeah, I posted in on the off chance you didn't know how to do an image search. You say it's obvious, but many people are too ignorant/lazy to do it, so I guess you have more faith in humanity than I. XD

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Corey - Sep. 05, 2010

How would posting a picture not be beneficial? There's like 3 people on the site that have one, and everyone is asking what the inside looks like..

I set of pictures with good lighting would be much better than the pointless generic product image that shows nothing..

Because it's a Black PTW! >_<
I thought that was clear by now.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Corey - Sep. 05, 2010

You're the only one that's said that.

No offense, but I'd like to see it for myself. I don't know why that's such a big deal.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Aikemi - Sep. 05, 2010

I've had one for a couple days now (LF, that is.) Since I don't see any real stuff being said about/on it, might as well say

-It does have a flat stamina center, and is not identical to the PTW (excluding small aesthetic changes on the walls of the stadium,) but is very very similar.

-The stamina center, though existent, is somewhat ironic because it is covered by Hasbro's terrible paint, so when blades go into the center, the paint depletes their spin, regardless of type and/or bottom material. Should be noted that my RF based combos will usually die out shortly after criss-crossing the center a couple times, or falling into it after spinning around the stadium.

-Tornado ridge doesn't really help. Not sure if we also see this in PTW, but attack types will easily go over and past it when in performing a sliding shoot pattern. Doesn't happen very often, so it isn't that bad of a problem.

-Pockets are in the same location. As for their depth, I think there is a slight difference, but I would have to confirm. Same goes for the length/width.

-All in all, for the $8 I spend it wasn't too bad of a purchase, especially when compared to the $25 Mobile Stadium.

-As for potential of being a good stadium, I do see more of a chance than PTW, but not much more. However, I do believe that if the center was stripped of its paint, it may hold some promise. Of course, this probably won't be done for tournaments, but may make personal use more satisfactory.

Those are my 2 cents. I can maybe take pics after I finish my homework and stuff over the weekend, and am available for answering questions.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Ochibi - Sep. 05, 2010

Thank you Aikemi for all of that information. So it sound like it's sort of made for stamina types i'm guessing.

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Sep. 05, 2010

pics will be posted as soon as my CP us up and running agian (using itouch. Security is down. alot of malware on my CP. it crashed today just as i was uploading pics of the stadium before they were even asked for.

the stadiums are practicly identical but the LF has these lightning bolts on the walls that pop out from the rest of the walls

RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Ochibi - Sep. 05, 2010

That's really weird, I did not now about the lightning bolts. Do they interfere at all?
