Well yeah, that's how you're supposed to shoot CS combos.

It's testing Mc Frown, finding out which launching techniques work best. Since there has been limited testing on CS it hasn't been firmly established which mode or shooting technique benefits CS more yet.

Has testing been done on 85 yet? I'm curious if its height could even be *too* low without RF, due to danger of the Wheel scraping the stadium. Of course, if that turns out not to be the case, it could make Quetz 85RF dominant.

No testing has been performed on any part of Mercury Anubis as of yet, due to the fact of the rarity of the beyblade and there are hardly any members whom own a Mercury Anubis; the only members who I'm aware of who do own one are EpicBoard, Skori and myself. I'm not sure of the intentions of EpicBoard and Skori on whether or not they'll test their Mercury Anubis's though I intend to keep mine for collection.

I've been thinking lately due to the variances in heights amongst the tips ie, RF and CS perhaps 85 isn't to low of a track to use. For example due to the height of CS based combos they are generally taller then RF combos, so a Quetzalcoatl 90RF will be around the same height as a Quetzalcoatl 85CS even though the CS combo is on a lower track.

Fair enough. I'm one to use their Beys regardless of plating, so if I somehow win the design competition, I will perform tests on Mercury Anubis 85XF. My contact from Vietnam also confirmed she located the stores with Beyblade, any recent parts need testing?

Doesn't Bakushin have Defense potential?

Ah, actually it is some Stamina, but I do not think it can be top-tier ...

I don't own Bakushin so I can't really say, but what I think Kai-V means is that Bakushin's stamina qualities are superior to it's defensive capabilities which are mediocre at best.

I was going from memory, but I checked the thread afterwards, and edited my post, which is why I came here to personally respond to you with an "Ah, actually".

MB for a wobbler? Also I tried to use Flame ___M145S/FS/SD (outter and inner mode) and could not get it to successfully work as it would always hop and K-O itself.
I'm not sure if it is just my launching technique, but when it doesn't hop when you launch it it would defeat Destabilizers such as Flame Cancer 100FS. Don't take my word on it but I only got it to "not hop around the whole time" only 3 times and each time it won. It was probably luck though.

As far as psuedo-wobblers go I always liked:

MF Flame Cancer 145S
(It's important that the flame and cancer be hasbro)

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - souless1234 - Sep. 17, 2010

Yes, they were Hasbro parts. What did you use it against because I want to try it out myself.

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Mc Frown - Sep. 17, 2010

It destroys Quetz 90RF

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - souless1234 - Sep. 17, 2010

Heh, too bad I don't have a Quetz, but I'll be ordering on soon. Anyways I play around with it later against a destabilizer ;l

Has anyone here tried Pegasis H145RF? or MF Pegasis H145RF?
I personally get better results from this combo than what I get from the top tier 145 track combo.

H145 is super recoil, but I understand your logic... I don't have pegasis though...

I know that it is a super recoil track, but for some reason with this combo the recoil very seldom negatively affects Pegasis' performance.
I've gotten much better results than with 145 and DF145, this thing throws Earth Bull out of the stadium like it's nothing, whereas 145 HAS to score the early ko.

I've seen this already, in fact, Pegasis with H145 gets very good results as shown in that link, I'm just wondering about other peoples opinions on it. I personally found it to be the best variant, but that thread's results show it just slightly below 145.

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Mc Frown - Sep. 18, 2010

Well considering Pegasis has 3 wings and H145 has 2 heavy horns, it's a bit off balance, and has quite a bit of recoil.

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Nojo294 - Sep. 27, 2010

Added MF LL Drago 100CS...

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - 桃太郎 - Oct. 04, 2010

While we're kind of on the topic of MF Pegasis 145RF, has anyone else tested MF Pegasis ___RF on Tracks of other heights? I didn't get consistent results when Pegasis sat on 105, so if someone could try it on a 125, 135, etc.?

RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Jerf - Oct. 04, 2010

The higher the track Pegasis is on, the more consistent it's attacks.
It has smash on 90 as well. But very rarely does it happen...
