Is there a particular reason why the Wiki won't let me upload new images? It just says "Internal error" at the top and "The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver. ".

No. Same message as last time.
EDIT: It also has some text in the background which I can't copy/paste. It basically says Warning: something something function.mk.dr]. Permission denied in home/beywikic/domains/beywiki.com/public.html/includes/GlobalFunctions.php on line 1670

I am having a similar problem again. I was trying to upload an image, but got this:
"Internal Error
Could not rename file "/tmp/phpGbyaXt" to "public/a/a6/MFBparts.jpg"."
