RE: Beyblade Videos - fragbait - Jun. 22, 2009

I think a vid on doing Sliding Shoot with Beylauncher would be SWEET.

1) I've done Gattyaki a few times but not on purpose XD More like my shots come out late
2) I figured. Looking forward to it.

RE: Beyblade Videos - BladeBee - Jun. 22, 2009

Can you do one explaining The multiple ways of shooting, instead of doing a video for each

I think that would take quite long ... and it would be kinda pointless

Why? What's the disadvantage of separate videos? I'm not disregarding the idea, but I would like to hear the advantage of this.

RE: Beyblade Videos - Maz - Jun. 22, 2009

There should be a WBO Twitter and/or Facebook account where you can post these videos. (and news, event dates/outcomes, etc..)

I agree separate videos would be better. There is no advantage. Could even be confusing.

There's a Facebook one already too Smile

RE: Beyblade Videos - Bey Brad - Jun. 22, 2009

There is a WBO Twitter actually, I just never ever use it or promote it at all.

Well there is None. You can choose its just that all the diffrent ways of launching go into one category.Shooting.So it would save some time doing one video explaining everything.but there is a advantage to doing seperate videos.its better sorted

RE: Beyblade Videos - Bey Brad - Jun. 22, 2009

Keep in mind how long the original Sliding Shoot video was. That said, there aren't many "real" shooting techs outside of banking, sliding shoot, and gattyaki.

RE: Beyblade Videos - Maz - Jun. 22, 2009

You should post this video on the front page its really good.

Beyblade Lesson: Types

Still processing so quality will get better in time.

EDIT: High quality and HD is working! Grin

Is that Beyblade OST in the background? Nostalgia, especially for the Stamina part of the video ~ ♥

RE: Beyblade Videos - Bey Brad - Jun. 22, 2009

It's the G-Rev OST, yeah. Smile

RE: Beyblade Videos - Khel - Jun. 23, 2009

nice vid Brad!

But is it just me or did your old camera have better video quality?....

RE: Beyblade Videos - Pich - Jun. 23, 2009

^^^^ I think it may as well. Great video, though.

Yeah, very informative for new Bladers.

I noticed this as well. A lot of the footage looked blurry to me ...

RE: Beyblade Videos - Bey Brad - Jun. 23, 2009

Yeah, I see what you mean ... Unhappy

I'm willing to bet it's a lighting/positioning issue though, not the camera. Still, looking at it now I'm feeling really disappointed. Unhappy I want to delete all the videos.
Well, it appears the issue was with some poor lighting and positioning decisions by me. But, please understand that I put an entire day into that video and I basically feel like killing myself after seeing how poor the footage looks by comparison to older videos ...

I may have to reshoot the whole thing.

RE: Beyblade Videos - Bey Brad - Jun. 23, 2009

So I did some more tests with my current camera and for some reason, the previous camera (Kodak z1285) definitely performed better ... I sent this e-mail to Kodak:

===

Hi Kodak,

My name is Brad Tiller. Back in April I purchased a Kodak z1285 Easyshare camera because I
was intrigued by the video function. I took some video with it, and the results were quite good:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dkH4NMzdL4

However, I discovered the Zi6 and checked out some sample footage of it, and I was
impressed. And of course, I assumed, a dedicated video camera from the same company will
have much better video than their point & shoot model! So I returned the z1285 to Canadian
Tire and picked up a Zi6 in May. Finally getting the time to use it, I'm disappointed. In fact, it
appears the z1285 had BETTER VIDEO. Just look at the blurry video I captured from the
Zi6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTZ9xHIIrRU

So, please understand the position I'm in. I returned a cheaper, point and shoot camera, for a
more expensive, dedicated video camera ... and the video was better on the P&S! I would love
to return the Zi6 and get the z1285 back, but I'm past Staples return policy.

So, here's what I'm getting at: I would like to exchange, through Kodak, the Zi6 for a z1285 ...
the camera I'd originally purchased and returned. I cannot afford to buy another camera,
particularly when I only needed one in the first place. Please help me.

===

I'm so upset and frustrated right now. Unhappy
