Woah. Just...wow. Did anybody else see Indy WIN over Tennessee? I didn't know "win" was in the Colts' dictionary this year.

RE: NFL Football - Temporal - Dec. 21, 2011

"CJ2K" is immensely overrated. He had one great season, and he's been pedestrian all of this year. Peyton Manning is STILL MVP, though. Don't tell me that their record couldn't have been 13-1, not 1-13 if Manning was playing.

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 21, 2011

Their record could've probably been 12-5 hadn't Manning got injured. They were just sucky this year.

This thread is for American Football, not International Futbol (SOCCER). You're posting in the wrong thread.

FLAWLESS WEEK FOR MAH SWAMI. I'm now 42-33, up to 56%. Here's what I got:

PACKERS 35-21 Bears
49ERS 19-17 Seahawks
Jaguars 17-23 TITANS
Rams 0-27 STEELERS
Texans 16-19 COLTS (I honestly did this one for a laugh. Seriously, I did not think they could pull it off. This gave me my flawless. THANKS INDY!!!)

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 28, 2011

Okay I'm 49-26 Here's this week.
Dallas 21, GIANTS 30
LIONS 28, Packers 24
Chiefs 10, BRONCOS 16
CHARGERS 37, Raiders 12
Bucanneers 14, FALCONS 35
So yeah! That's my Swami

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 28, 2011

You're picking Kansas City over Denver? Look, I know they ended Green Bay's winning streak, but I KNOW that they must be tired still. And with Tebow coming in? No way they can make it through that. And I still think Green Bay can deliver a double whammy, but I'm not counting on it.

So, here's my predictions:

Chargers 24-21 Raiders (OT)
Bills 35-31 Patriots (letting you know, I will NEVER pick NE to win a game unless I KNOW it's certain.)
49ers 28-0 Rams
Colts 11-7 Jaguars (again, just for kicks. I've already clinched a personal swami record.)
Cardinals 17-10 Seahawks

However, I'm most interested in watching Tennessee and Houston. These are 2 of my top 5 favorite teams in the NFL. The Titans are starting to find themselves, but are 8-7, 3-4 on the road. The Texans are 10-5, 5-2 at home and have already clinched their division, but they are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the COLTS, and that could've shaken them up. I'm looking forward to see what happens.

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 28, 2011

No I'm not look at the score 16-10
Are you doing playoff swami too? I am my best record was 52-30 then I stopped last year so I trying to beat that record.

RE: NFL Football - xXBlueHoodXx - Dec. 28, 2011

I used to love football until i realized it was rugby for sissies.

I already beat my personal record. It was HORRIBLE. 23-57, 29%. Right now I got 56%. Hopefully Sunday goes good, so I can get a good finish.

And yes, I messed up. I see now what you picked.

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 28, 2011

Are you doing Playoff Predictions I am

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 28, 2011

I will, but I'm gonna wait until all of the positions are final. Also, I need to clear it up; the bottom 2 division winners face the Wild Card, and the bye teams face them, right?

RE: NFL Football - Bean7992 - Dec. 29, 2011

RAVENS!!!!!

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 29, 2011

DefStamina88 yes correct

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 29, 2011

Ok good. I wasn't completely sure how it went. Thanks for letting me know.

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 29, 2011

I'm so glad that the Eagles are out of the playoffs. But who thinks about Drew Brees should be MVP? I do because he broke the single season passing yards record.

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 29, 2011

I agree with ya. Tom Brady doesn't deserve it, Rodgers? Eh, not quite. However, I still think Tebow is close.

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 29, 2011

On my ballot I could except Stafford I mean look what he did with Lions and only needs 492 more yds to break the record but he probably won't. But still he made the Lions from a cupcake team to a playoff team! GO LIONS!

Tom Brady does deserve the Most Valuable Player award.

He is very valuable, considering his team has the 32nd ranked defense, and the only open players he has are Welker, Gronk, and Hernandez. I mean seriously, the Patriots can't even run the ball that consistently well, so Brady does deserve it.

Brees is part of the system way more than Brady is, but even then, I'm not saying Brees is overrated because of that, or that makes him worse. But the fact that his team is overall better than the Pats helps Brady deserve the MVP.

RE: NFL Football - DefStamina88 - Dec. 29, 2011

Here's what I see of contenders. It's somewhat of a long list: Brees, Brady, Rodgers, E.Manning, Schuab, Matt Ryan, Stafford, Romo, Philip Rivers, Big Ben, and Flacco.

I know there's a lot more that I missed. I was just pointing out some of them...

RE: NFL Football - ƛnubis - Dec. 30, 2011

Calvin Johnson JR. Maybe. Lions are locked in the playoffs. If we beat Green Bay we get to play a weaker NFC east team over playing the Saints.

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Dec. 30, 2011

True too there Anubis.

RE: NFL Football - ƛnubis - Dec. 31, 2011

Or we could play NFC East if Atlanta loses to Tampa which wont happen...

RE: NFL Football - PhantomKid - Jan. 02, 2012

I went 4-2 last week. So i'm 52-28 beat my previous record wild card:
Lions, 35 Saints, 34
Falcons 41, Giants 17
Steelers 14, Broncos 10
Bengals 20, Texans 17
