Theory of Max Potential Wizard Rod - VermillionMoon - Jun. 15, 2025 Hello, lately I have been interested in the topic of X Modifications. Illegal modifications if you will. I think this may be one of the most interesting ones I have thought of lately, not claiming this as my original thought since I doubt I am the first person to think of this. Wizard Rod 0-60 B Now we all know that Wizard Rod 9-60 B is a meta staple, if not THE meta staple. But how could it be better? The low height is usually good, especially to avoid being burst; along with Wizard Rod's average weight in the upper 30g, it would benefit from a small ratchet height. Now 0-60 is the lowest ratchet we can do so far. Due to TT using the weird lock system for Wizard Arc's 4-55 ratchet, we sadly at least to my knowledge, ratchet swap with 4-55. So we will have to do with 0-60. Now the cheapest way to do this is to take Scorpion Spear's 0-70 and any 3-60 ratchet then do a basic ratchet swap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEgU0fcwAYI. This video explains how to do ratchet swapping if you do not know how to do it. I feel that 0-XX is good because it does not have any blades that can be hit to make it burst faster. Not to mention Wizard Rod's shape being a practically perfect circle. So hopefully using a 0-XX ratchet will help with the balance of the Blade reducing the loss of stamina in the stadium. I am not the best at science so I found more better explanations on Reddit. https://publish.reddit.com/embed?url=https://www.reddit.com/r/Beyblade/comments/19cmvgt/comment/kj8b4dw/ There is also information on Beyblade X Database on Wizard Rod and these are all the reasons why this monster was chosen for this little backyard science experiment: https://www.beybxdb.com/beyblades/takara-tomy-beyblade-x/wizard-rod-5-70db There is also this lovely post that talks about how the shape of a Blade is very important for battles: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-An-Analysis-of-Beyblade-Shapes-using-ImpactDrake-and-GhostCircle?pid=1875556#pid1875556 But we are not done yet. What if I told you there was a way to make B a nearly unburstable bit? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhVzL-M73e4&t=465s. This video showcases rubber O-rings being put onto Metal Needle to make it practically unburstable. Now imagine this with B, an already very aggravating bit. It would make Wizard Rod nearly unstoppable and only suspectable of being thrown in the out zones. Now we can get even more crazy here. What if we gave Wizard Rod the ability to spin steal like L Drago? Rubber is a key part of absorbing the spin life of a Beyblade if it is spinning in the opposite direction of its opponent. Rubber Left Spin Vs Right Spin = Spin siphoning potential, the ability to harness the momentum spin speed of your opponent as long as you aren't spinning as fast as them. If you are spinning faster than your opponent then you will risk being the one whose spin speed is being stolen. Now we have no spin steal in X just yet. The closest we have is Cobalt Dragoon on Elevate, but that is not even close to a true spin steal. If using Wizard Rod with rubber bands on the left spin, then we can siphon the right spin speed and transfer its kinetic energy into Wizard Rod, then we can do the iconic L Drago or Fafnir spin steal. There is also Rubber Right Spin Vs Right Spin = Heavy impact. Now, I am not a physics genius; heck, I am only cruising, just barely in chemistry. But Rubber Right Spin makes pretty heavy impacts against its opponents. Now, I cannot explain this part all too well, but it's just a general thing I am stating because what if I told you of a dual-spin Wizard Rod? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ1o-Ntj8Bk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y92s-IYYUQQ&t=76s Admittedly any Beyblade can be left spin if the technique is done just like in those two videos. This technique could technically risk breaking the Beyblade. Now, it is also possible to do this with an L String Launcher but needed to be used in the same way as in those videos. The way shown in the videos of how to make any Bey left spin literally goes against so many tournament laws but at this point, all the modifications I have discussed here are against so many rules, so this is like a casual battle Bey that is meant to showcase the maximum potential of Wizard Rod without having to literally craft your own parts. Besides, if using the ripcord method in the video, the Bey spins slower due to the way X Right Winders are mechanical, which is perfect for spin siphoning. So just put a few rubber bands on Wizard Rod, preferably covering the entire metal rims, and now you have if not one, of the scariest spin stealers or something that hits like Impact Drake. It all depends on whether you want to spin it Left or Right. I did think of saying you could remove the plastic that makes up Cobalt Dragoon's blade, but that is extremely annoying and borderline insane to do, and this method allows it to spin in both directions, so I do prefer this. If you want to know more about Beyblade Physics then this post was also pretty informative for me: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-The-Physics-of-Beyblades oh and https://aminoapps.com/c/beyblade/page/item/dariuss-handbook-to-physics-in-beyblade/N466_42KcWI375vdwd4PonEp7XeNRjn2rpG So there you have it the combo that I decided to call, UX-00 Wizard Lich 0-60 IB (Wizard Lich Zero Sixty Immortal Ball) Hasbro Name (Lich Wizard Zero Sixty IB) The Dual Spinning menace to society Please let me know what you think of this absolute monstrosity to the world! Or if you want me to come up with any more Beyblade modification combinations. I rarely see anyone on YouTube do X modding; more of them do X customs, but I believe modding is much more exhilarating! RE: Theory of Max Potential Wizard Rod - Frisk291 - Jun. 15, 2025 everything about this seems hype but I will mention one thing. The three bumps on a zero-side ratchet tend to burst if they make contact with the Xtreme line. So being lower to the ground may exacerbate the issue. Though if you know how to launch and practice enough I'm sure you could lessen the chance of that happening. edit: Don't exactly have time to give a full-fledged response but this is just my current two cents before I do a closer look. Amazing work on this Vermillion. I do agree with you here but thats why we chose a stamina bit so it doesn’t automatically go to the Xtreme line. Admittedly the only way its hitting the Xtreme line is if the opponent hits you hard enough to connect you to the line which hopefully won’t be enough to happen. Launch tech is heavily important here Also thank you Frisk! I had to look for a lot of cites and information this time around RE: Theory of Max Potential Wizard Rod - ElDiablo69 - Jun. 15, 2025 You have made a snuffin monster RE: Theory of Max Potential Wizard Rod - Frisk291 - Jun. 17, 2025 errorrrereer brb Ya girls back! I grabbed my toolkit and 0-70 and 5-60. And made 0-60! I did some tests with basic meta attack combos and it passed with flying rainbow colors! It's pretty similar to if you just did 0-70 but being at 60 definitely helps even if its just to a small degree! Overall it's pretty fun and I assume we will probably see the official release of 0-60 since it's just one millimeter shorter then 0-70. Its definitely not perfect but with enough practice, a bit of patience, and lack of a skill issue. It seems nicely viable. P.S. I used Ball and UnderNeddle for it. ;3 Believe it or not. I'm a fan of MetalNeddle. I found it worked nicely with PheonixWing the day ShinobiShadow came out but could never put it to the test as no one wants it in tournaments. (Obviously and completely understandable and okay) So seeing MN get a buff it....it pleases me..mwahahah! WizardRod is also one of my top 3 fav X Beys. (Not because its OP, I loved it since I saw the BeyLeaks for it so shut up! I'm looking at you person in the back, yeah you!) Anyway..... I'm also a big fan of Free De La Hoya and SpinSteal, putting a rubberband on WizardRod seems fun! Might try it for GhostCircle. All in all VermillionMoon what you've come up with is honestly really fun and a cool experiment. I loved reading it and testing parts of it out! Thanks for letting me know this thread💜 Keep up the modding and in depth research!
