Does Heavier Mean Better? - SoggyJoe - Jun. 10, 2025 I was thinking about having a combo of Scorpio Spear blade, the M-85 Ratchet, and the Disc Ball bit. It would be the heaviest combo as of yet, but I'm not sure if it would be functional. RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - fabelavalon - Jun. 10, 2025 Weight is important but it doesn't always mean it will be good. That combo for example would be extraordinarily tall, and top heavy, meaning it won't be able to right itself if it's start tilting, and will also be very very easy to burst given the mechanism and contacts of M-85. No. RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - SoggyJoe - Jun. 10, 2025 So if I had the Under Needle bit instead of the Disc Ball bit, would the combo be better? Theoretically, yes. No. The build would still be incredibly top heavy. ScSp is not a blade that will benefit from M-85. It's not very likely that any blade will actually want to use M-85. 85 is not a height you want to be at almost ever, and the mechanism and shape of the ratchet are asking to be burst often. RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - Blader.Z - Jun. 11, 2025 Not really. The weight does play a major role, sure, but it also depends on how the weight is distributed throughout the bey and how the parts you used for it complement it RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - SoggyJoe - Jun. 12, 2025 So, what ratchet works best with the Scorpio Spear blade? RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - ElDiablo69 - Jun. 12, 2025 9-60/7-60/7-70 all work pretty well RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - Frisk291 - Jun. 12, 2025 (Jun. 12, 2025 5:06 AM)SoggyJoe Wrote: So, what ratchet works best with the Scorpio Spear blade?3-60 RE: Does Heavier Mean Better? - GhostieM - Jun. 15, 2025 (Jun. 12, 2025 5:06 AM)SoggyJoe Wrote: So, what ratchet works best with the Scorpio Spear blade?take this with a massive amount of salt, since I haven't played against much competitive combos, just what me and one of my friends have.
