Wedge bit testing thread - Anime Kid - May. 14, 2025

Phoenix wing 560/360/660 is a pretty good wedge combo with good defense I would say it even rivals phoenix wing on hexa but I haven’t done enough testing to give stats

Your post said testing. That combo is successful and has been tested. You never said it had to be "original", so basically, you got what you asked for. Plus it's a really good combo

Ohhhhh. Well I did try WeissTiger 5-60Wedge. Seemed to work nice.

Welp. If we still talking about Wedge, some poeple found use in it, when used with SilverWolf and 9-80 or 9-70. Being a small ratchet with a mid to tall height allows SW to use it's free spinning ring to absorb the attack and shock, and since the weight is centric and downwards the Wedge bit allows to perform stabily and perform a dodge xtreme dash.

We are still talking about wedge! It seems like a good combo but i dont have SW rn maybe you can find an alternative?

4-55 doesn't distribute the weight evenly which causes wobbling. It also tends to scarping and scraping will leave your Ratchet wide open which is bad considering 4-55 has no burst resistance. I'd Recommend 3-60 or 9-60 to help with burst resistance, though the scraping seems to be present no matter what. Likely from Wedge. But this is just my testing. Maybe yours went differently.

I really like 455 on shark edge taper/unite and its rlly good so 455 so 455 is prolly meta breaking for comp

4-55 is far from meta breaking lmao. Its basically only viable in left spin due to its weird burst resistance. Sure you *can* use it on right spin but the burst risk you impose on yourself is incredibly not worth it

I've put Wedge on Shinobi Shadow 1-80, Knight Shield 7-80, and my personal favorite is Samurai Saber 5-70

I've been using Tyranno Beat 1-60 as my defense Bey for about three weeks, and it's showing pretty good promise, being able to tank aggressive combos while having enough oompf to hit wolves and rods into pockets. Another combo I've been finding weird results in is Shinobi Shadow 0-80 wedge, which allows parrying and sometimes outlasting Dragon Goo.

I wanna try dranbuster on wedge if u balance tune 160 to the back of the blade/the opposite direction of the sword it can be good on hexa and probably wedge

I've tried it. Not worth your time. Even if you swap the side of 1-60 DranBuster is nearly impossible to balance tune
