Help a beginner! - BlayzinSpeed - Mar. 17, 2025

I’m trying to make the best combos possible with the beys I got: Keel Shark, Bite Croc, Sting Unicorn, Dagger Dran, Tusk Mammoth, Sword Dran, Arrow Wizard, Scythe Incendio, and Leon Claw. I’m new to Beyblade X and came from MFB, so any tips are also welcome! (I am a big fan of how the Scythe Incendio looks so combos with that are especially appreciated)

I'm new to Beyblade X and came from MFB as well! My Beyblade X collection is small, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I do have some suggestions for making the best possible combos out of your current pool of parts.

To put it simply, Sting Unicorn; Scythe Incendio; Keel Shark and Bite Croc are all high-tier Blades in competitive play. Tusk Mammoth is also a good Blade from my experience, but only if you treat it as if it were KnightShield, otherwise it is a weaker version of Scythe Incendio. For Bits, the best ones you own are Rush; Point; Taper and Ball, so building your combos around these particular parts is a good start.

Scythe Incendio's a good jack-of-all trades Blade (alongside Sting Unicorn). It works best as a Stamina or Defense Type, so combos like 3-60B and 5-60P are recommended.

Welcome to X!

Now I'm not an amazing player so take my suggestions with that in mind, but for the most part I've followed the meta enough to have a rough idea of what's good haha! I Googled each Bey you have, since your using the Hasbro names I'm gonna assume those are what you have to work with (though hard to tell exactly what package they came from so not 100% sure on your Ratchet and Bit selection), So! Using just what you have;

- Sting Unicorn 5-60 Point or Taper,
- Bite Croc/Keel Shark 3-60 Rush, Low Flat or Flat,
- Scythe Incendio * Ball or Point.
*(Unsure what Ratchets you have left, 3-70, 5-70, 6-60, 7-60, 8-60 or 9-60 are all good, worst case scenario 4-60 would do.)

If you want any of these combos or bits explaining more than happy to help you there.
Of course these Bey's are starting to get a little outclassed by the newer releases, I'd say Unicorn and Croc/Shark can still compete but Scythe just has better options these days :<
Still, rep your fav Bey! It can still perform so get out there! Grin

Thank you so much for all the info! That stinks that scythe isn’t that good anymore. Do you have any ideas what beys I should try and pick up next?

Definitely recommend getting the Soar Phoenix set, incredibly powerful/meta Bey and comes with a string launcher.
Wand Wizard is -THE- strongest Bey right now, incredible stamina or can be run as an attack/stam balance type.
Beat Tyranno is amazing one of my personal favourites, otherwise Dran Buster is liked by many. Hope that helps!
