Beyblade X Part Analytics - MadeofMoss - Mar. 17, 2025 Hi, I'm sorry for not keeping the Event Results sheet updated, lately I've been more focused on this new sheet which tracks much more specific data. The readME sort of covers the "take this with a grain of salt" but I want to try to say that again here; Some parts are often paired with others really often, like Wizard Rod and Ball, which inwvitably skews data in certain directions. Knowing what combos are in the Match Inputs is pretty helpful in reading this, but there are a lot, so just generally treat the Analytics tabs as only close to accurate. (Im typing this on mobile, and just tried to italicize "close" and now im worried that the rest of this is going to be in italics cause the button was being weird-) I also tried to make a beyblade version of Glicko to give the parts ratings based on their winrates vs other parts, there is a section on analytics tabs saying this is an arbitrary thing and should not be taken seriously, cause its not, it really is just me playing around with the data. It requires a lot of different matchups before the number ratings it gives stabilize, for example, Aero Pegasus currently has only matches from events, so its mostly only faced highly rated parts and this system is giving AP an absurdly high rating despite a ~51% winrate. Same with Wizard Arrow. Anyway, I was holding off on posting this sheet publicly cause the Event Results sheet i made has, i feel, skewed public perception of parts. In my mind, i think i personally was looking at the game like this after looking at the event results sheet everyday; 🧊 good parts 🧊 🧊 🧊 💧💧💧 💧 💧 💧 🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊 bad parts 🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊 🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊 🧊🧊🧊🧊 🧊🧊🧊🧊 🧊🧊🧊 🧊🧊 🧊 Which is uhh.. shortsighted? I guess? I didn't like the way I was seeing the game. Based on recent event videos I started entering into this new sheet, it seems the Event Results sheet has also sort of created a feedback loop of people entering events with mostly parts seen in winning combos, increasing those parts' chance of appearing in winning combos, leaving other ones with little chance of demonstrating their usefulness. Now, I do wanna say, the parts that consistently make it into the winning combo thread are likely very good parts. They have to pass through a long gauntlet of matches to reach top3-4 at events, and they may just be THE best parts, but I wanted to know more about the lesser used ones, so I started working on this new sheet. I think something like this could help the community when X reaches the end of releases and people start looking to make a "Limited" format. Also, I would love if anyone wanted to help by providing their own trials and notes. In my mind, the best way to collect data for this is to have a judge record all the matches played at one stadium in a day to get random samples, at least I think that gets better sample data than a player recording their own run at an event, though i think both of these are very useful, and with a large enough set of samples, those sorts of biases will even out among the ocean of random other data. I have added solo testing from my own trials and others shared, and am open to adding more, but at a point I would think i'd need to draw a line on that? Maybe? I don't know. Please discuss any and all thoughts here ![]() Ocean (has all data i can find) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xHpo6OQRmYCJb2jy6koadESpipjebDVpRgOH-PSREXM/edit?usp=drivesdk Events (event matches only) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ptj4_OaPT5tpq3dthUozDvjx8j250Lw4EfST6_hNaD4/edit?usp=drivesdk Also im testing Bits right now, I bought 2 additional Scythes for this, i have 4 total and I run two matches at a time in two stadiums. This is going to break at least one of the blades before I finish it.. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lD7dmcdaxklN6kASVXItrcdRgFUtXeHI4rUQ4lJ1SuI/edit?usp=sharing |
