[Martinez, California] Any Burst tournaments near here? - Xhilirate - Feb. 26, 2025

Hi. I'm situated near Martinez, California and I read would like to participate in a burst tournament. I have never been in a tournament, but I've been blading since the beginning of burst. A friend and I were curious to see if we could find a tournament near us, but we could only find X tournaments. We are not interested in X competitively speaking. Please help us out guys. Let us know of any burst tournaments near Martinez. The furthest we are able to travel is an hour. Thanks in advance guys.

You're likely not going to see many Burst tournaments any time soon. X will be the most common format you see because it's current and the most accessible generation as of now. Burst's competitive scene also ended off pretty rough and was arguably unenjoyable for its last few years, which is also probably why the only Burst tournaments in your state(and in the country... and the world) aren't allowing parts from the end of the series.

You could try contacting an Organizer near Martinez and asking them if they could host a Burst tournament, or just give X a shot if you're willing to.

I see. That makes a lot of sense. I guess I arrived too late then. I might give X a shot. Thanks for the info.
