Is the Super Vortex Stadium really that bad? - Extic - Jul. 29, 2010

Cause I got the bundle from walmart, and it arrived today..... and, though I haven't tested yet, don't see how it hurts attack blades due to it's lack of ditches.
Now, as I said, I haven't tested: The only blades I have right now are the alternately colored Lightning L-Drago and Storm Pegasus that are included [I have ordered other types but they aren't here yet].
But, as I was playing, I saw that the blades, when hit into the side [EDIT: By "side" I mean the small ramps that go up the sides throughout the stadium], had a reasonably good decrease in spin velocity, making them even more vulnerable to attacks...
So, again, I have tested, but it seems like the attack blades will still be able to hold their own if they knock the other types into the sides.
Just what I noticed, though. I could be wrong, so please, don't take this as me saying that you guys are wrong.

And, after having waited so long to get the new blades [I didn't want to import from Japan], I'm happy, but, lolwow, they're small. Not that that's a bad thing.

You're using two attack style blades in it.

I still haven't tested it, but judging by the apparent lack of slope and no pockets -- Stamina will own this stadium as well.

It also looks really small on the inside, but that's just my opinion.

Eh, it is pretty small. But it's not completely lacking slope. The inner circle is sloped, the outside edge is not.
And yeah, I'm just making a guess based on what I've seen, stamina may well own when it comes down to it, but the "vortex"-y bits seem quite helpful.
Also, for anyone who was wondering, the paint they used on the metal wheels is hella chippy, so don't get too attached to the colors [EDIT: That is, if you don't take the proper preparations to prevent that (me)].

You should move this discussion to the Beyblade Metal Fusion topic, where the Super Vortex Stadium has already been talked about, and videos posted.

Essentially, there still needs to be the ability to knock out Beyblades or something, otherwise Attack types will probably lose all their small stamina before other types are really in danger. But, it needs to be tested thoroughly first with top-tier combinations.
