How to start a tournament - LightningPeg - Jul. 28, 2010

i wanted to start a wbo approved tournament in winderemere fl but i don't know how

RE: How to start a tournament - Kai-V - Jul. 28, 2010

This is not the right place to ask.

You just have to get at least eight confirmed participants, obviously decide on a location and date that is ideal for most people, then post in the Event Proposals forum.

Sorry to comment on a bad thread, but do the participants have to be members of the WBO for it to count? I mean, I have lots of friends here who DON'T have an account, but I was just wondering.

Please excuse me again for the misplaced question.

For the 8 people they HAVE to be WBO members for it to get officialized.

Also check the WBO general for other tournaments in your state before you create a new forum

They can join the WBO the day of tournament as well.
And they have to pay $10 for a blader passport, which is good all year long.

Fixed, since they can pay $5 for just the tournament.

Nifty, I was unaware of that.

RE: How to start a tournament - LightningPeg - Jul. 28, 2010

how do i move this thread to event proposals

RE: How to start a tournament - Daegor42 - Jul. 28, 2010

You cannot. Only moderators can move threads. I don't see why you would want to move this thread there anyway. As it stands, you have absolutely no chance of getting approved. You have no date, location or possible attendees.

i have 2 friends that are interested, i can have it at the park in my neighborhood, i just dont have a date

RE: How to start a tournament - Kai-V - Jul. 28, 2010

I already told you the requirements, so do not post in the Event Proposals forum before you actually meet those.
