New to combos - CaptainBossFace - Sep. 08, 2024 Hey guys, just got back into it after nearly 20 years. Not played since first gen. I picked up some Hasbro parts and wondered what are the best combos for a deck I bought the Stadium with Dran Dagger and Mammoth Tusk Dran Sword and Tailed Viper dual pack Talon Ptera single pack Phoenix Soar with string launcher I'm aware that Phoenix is very good due to its weight. I'd like to use Mammoth Tusk and Dran Sword if possible. Thanks in advance RE: New to combos - fabelavalon - Sep. 09, 2024 DranSword 9-60 Taper/Flat/Rush PhoenixWing 4-60 Rush/Ball/Orb As for the third bey it's really hard to recommend mammoth, they really did it dirty. I would go for something like Talon Ptera 3-60 Flat/Rush RE: New to combos - CaptainBossFace - Sep. 09, 2024 What's the ratchet? So from what I got so far is the first number means the amount of nubs on it, but what would the difference between a 60 and a 40 be? Also is it worth using a gear flat or just a flat? Sorry for all the questions. RE: New to combos - fabelavalon - Sep. 09, 2024 For ratchets it's first number is number of contacts, second number is height. 60 is ~6mm for example. X-40 does not exist. Right now the heights we have are 60, 70, and 80, it's generally better to go low though the taller ratchets do have some niche uses. Gear Flat is really hard to control and a bit RNG for me, Flat offers a lot of control and still have a lot of hit RE: New to combos - CaptainBossFace - Sep. 09, 2024 That's brilliant thanks for your advice |
