ok i gots a question, in the case of using old school beyblades (ah nostalgia) such as the case of using ones such as wolborg 1 driger dragoon dranzer and the like, is this legal? or would old school players have to use new blades as well

It is legal to have cross-generational battles if you are playing in Open Format. However, since the release of Beyblade: Metal Fusion is either pending or has already happened in most parts of the world, most tournaments are going to be Standard Format. That means that only the "new" Beyblades will be legal.
