[Urbana-Champaign, Illinois] - nemurihime - Aug. 12, 2024 I'm sure there are plenty of you bladers out there scattered about amongst the corn and soybeans. I'm gauging interest for events in the Urbana-Champaign area. Based on other things I do in the area I believe people from Bloomington, Decatur, Peoria, Springfield, and other surrounding central Illinois communities would possibly be interested as well. Specifically, I would be running only Beyblade X. I have no interest in running tournaments for other formats as I do not play them. Tournaments would be held in Urbana, IL. I'm also looking into indoor space to be able to run events in the colder months of the year. I actually just becameĀ an organizer and I live in Illinois so I plan to be doing some stuff soon! RE: [Urbana-Champaign, Illinois] - nemurihime - Aug. 16, 2024 I'm basically just waiting on the organizer process to take its place. So it could be a bit before I'm allowed to host WBO ranked tournaments. But the idea was that central Illinois is far enough from Chicago, St Louis, and the Indiana events that there's probably enough room for a community out here. Also doesn't hurt that it's a fairly populated college town. |
