Should I be metal polishing beyblade X? - Gmerk - Aug. 04, 2024

I’ve been polishing them for a while now and just now am asking myself this question. I know weight of the blade is very important in BeybladeX so when I polish a bey does it by chance remove some grams from it? Honestly I’m just curious I like keeping my beys looking fresh. I’m new here so hey and any replies are very much appreciated 👍

I don't think it does. I see some well known YouTubers doing it and making vids on how to do it so I'm pretty sure you won't lose grams or anything. Also welcome since your new! Feel free to PM me anytime if you want to ask questions or are looking for a friend. Happy Blading

It DOES remove material because of what the polish does - but the amount is minimal so it will barely affect weight. The main concern is probably getting polish residue in the crevices. Since Beys will also oxidize fairly quickly anyway, it's not worth it to polish it all the time - maybe when it's fairly darkened. Best counter measure is also to gentle wipe any oil or sweat off of Beys, because that's also what causes it to oxidize faster.
