Yorkshire, UK Organiser - TimmyP - Jul. 01, 2024

Good morning all,

Timmy here showing my intent to become an organiser in Yorkshire.
I have only been blading for a short time after my son convinced me to join him for the Bury events. Since then I have become fully emersed in the scene attending Burst and X events in Bury and London.
Having seen the rise and popularity of X I would love to become an organiser in Yorkshire and help grow the sport more.
I am currently in discussions with a venue based in Selby and would love to hear of your interest in joining a new local community!

Hopefully see you soon!

Hi there! I'm a huddersfield based blader and am interested in becoming an event organiser aswell!
I'll be scouting around Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield for venues over the next couple of weeks

Excellent! I would have thought Leeds has a fair few suitable venues.

This sounds exciting, I will be keeping an eye out for whats to come.

I don't know if any of these are local to you but it may be worth heading down to a store event to try to poach some interest, if not just speak to some Hasbro reps showing there's interest for competitive events in the UK!

Oh this is cool, thanks for sharing! Are these official tournament/events? Will have to see about going along to the Darlington and/or Metrocentre stops. Smile

Unfortunately, these are just demos where I assume Hasbro reps go store to store and have a stadium and some beys for customers to mess around with.

BUT, I have been told by a Hasbro rep they aim to get more competitive events started through WPN stores around October/November. So definitely go find your local stores that run "Magic The Gathering" tournaments and express your interest in Beyblade events too.

The link doesn't work for me unfortunately.
I didn't know they were doing that, will have to try and find a store to visit.
I do now have a very suitable store which I will run taster events at to beinito build interest.
