Are These Combos Okay? - Blade Bros. - Jun. 25, 2024
I’ve only got Dran Sword and Soar Phoenix. But I’m about to get Chain Incendio, and a green Arrow Wizard. These are the combos I came up with.
Soar Phoenix 5-60 High Taper
Sword Dran 4-60 Gear Flat
Chain Incendio 9-60 Needle
Are they any good? Me and my brother wanna start doing tournaments, so will these be competitive enough?

With your available parts honestly I would run stock Sword Dran. Sword Dran 3-60 Flat is legitimately a strong combo.
The other two builds are probably best for what you have as well. Ideally you would want to try to pick up the Tail Viper dual pack or the standalone Arrow Wizard to pick up Orb/Ball to maximize Chain's potential.
Pretty decent cook over all though!

Soar Phoenix 5-60 Gear Flat may work for an attacker and will be heavier than Sword Dran. If you do get an Orb, put that on the Phoenix instead of GF and you’ve got a very strong combo that’s seeing a good bit of use right now.

Gear Flat is a bit temperamental, far more so than taper. And while I agree PW O is a strong combo, with the other parts they have available, putting orb on chain is the better bet.

Dransword is a very good blade in smash attacking, so putting 3-60 on your Dransword would be more effective. Using LF can decrease the height of the whole bey, so you can do more upper attacks. Also, 9-60 is supposed to be used in tandem with Phoenixwing, because the 3 main protrusions of this ratchet line up with the protruding launcher hooks of the blade. High Taper is fine because of its acceptable stamina. For Hellschain, use 5-60 for the looks and potential smash attack, and Needle is fine as well for its stamina.
