Hi I'm pretty new to beyblade and I'm not sure if there is a beyblade I should get, or if there is a set I should get.

If you have nothing, BX-07 or BX-17 is almost required as they both provide a stadium and a beyblade+launcher. BX-17 comes with two beys, two launchers and a stadium.
After that BX-08, BX-20 or BX-21 is a good pickup. Each of them is a set of three complete beys. BX-20 probably comes with the best parts overall, but all three are good in their own right.
If you're just looking for single beys, PhoenixWing is probably the b st single to pick up at the moment. Otherwise you'd wanna look at LeonClaw or UnicornSting. Leon for 5-60 and Point and UnicornSting for UnicornSting itself and 5-60.
