NY capital region blader looking for league - xelement18 - Jan. 29, 2024
I've just recently gotten myself back into beyblade through the new X line, an i was wondering if there was an existing league or any tournaments in the capital area around albany. I'm only interested if it is X i was never into the burst line and i'm a bit over the plastice gen and metal fight/fusion. The X line seems to put more emphasis on competitive play so i would love to jump into a legitimate league or tournament circuit.

So if we can get enough people involved there is a chance we could get the attention of takara tomy and or hasbro to finally do something in these areas. I mean there hasn't been a large scale tournemant held here since 2004.
So I can make a facebook group for this as well. We could just continue to communicate here an gathering more people.

Yea Facebook group is good unfortunately I don’t use mine lol just to like the happy birthday posts I get from family and that’s about it. I did make a subreddit and an instagram for beyblade_nyc but it’s not beyblade N.Y. it’s NYC unfortunately. But I would join the Facebook group

I'm still attempting to gether people through this thread and another page. I do have a page now(not a group yet) so i can link the pag. Not much on it just a welcome post. I am now apart of a discord with a group that calls themself the BBAX (beyblade battle association X-treme
They say there a re a lot of members wjth them in upstate and capital region locations.

Hi! I just got into beyblade again after 15 years. Currently in Cohoes wondering if there is any sort of community, gatherings etc. Still brand new and learning, but super excited to get more into it!

No way, my home town is mechanicville, we actually bladed a lot there in early 2000s in the church parking lot across from the car wash.
So, the facebook page is dead, i deleted my facebook. i was actually thinking of all of us contacting a hobby/gaming store an requesting them to cary beyblades. If enough of us request them they'll have a market for them an reason tk host tournemants. I can also try an get in contact with other shops that already stock them an hold tournemants to maybe send some folks our way or at least encourage other shops to stock.
