You should join the Midwest Beyblade Club discord (for midwestern states like Michigan) (https://discord.gg/n6CzDhYvGG) and WBO discord (https://discord.gg/world-beyblade-organization-620289759171969096) if you haven’t already. You can find more bladers/tournaments in your community in there.

Grand Rapids has some people from what I've seen, but someone needs to step up and start leading the effort for meetups.
