Upcoming Trip to Japan - Shining Blaze - Jan. 01, 2024 Hi. I'm a pretty old blader that hasn't played since the plastic generation. I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Beyblade's current scene, but hearing about Beyblade X got me wanting to jump back in. I've got an upcoming trip to Japan in two weeks, so I'd like to know what I should purchase while I'm there. I was hearing about exclusive blades in a magazine sold there, so that seems like a priority. Oh, and I live in Fredericksburg, VA so I would like to know about any nearby local scenes if possible. RE: Upcoming Trip to Japan - KIO - Jan. 02, 2024 "PhoenixFeather" is the magazine Beyblade in question, and honestly that one is passable. The "PhoenixWing" Deluxe Starter Pack is a great introductory product (strongest X Bey at the time of writing) and should only be about 2000 yen when you go. https://beybase.com/ is also a good resource, with their Beyblade X article being periodically updated: https://beybase.com/beyblade-x-buyers-guide-best-combos/#best-beyblade-x-combos. The "3on3 Deck Set" and "DranDagger Deck Set" are also a good buy and should be around 3000 yen. If you're looking for Upper Attack, you'll probably want "PhoenixWing" and the "SharkEdge" that comes in the DranDagger Deck Set, although the gameplay of X is unlike any previous generation. |
