RE: Random Thoughts - McMongol - Dec. 14, 2007

crank dat soulja boy is the only one that he actually made.

pretty much made a fad. now we got crank dat dbz!

btw, in case you guys were wondering, his whole cd is full of this garbage. talk about a waste of an hour of my life.

RE: Random Thoughts - Tototototototo - Dec. 14, 2007

You bought it!? I sure hope not. I really only listen to Soulja Boy for the sake of irony (throw some Ds on that carp), but people here seem to actually find his work good....

RE: Random Thoughts - Blue - Dec. 14, 2007

hope your not implying me Serious
i don't mind the best dances on ytube though. in the end its all stupid

time for work

RE: Random Thoughts - Tototototototo - Dec. 14, 2007

Hahaha, of course not. The dance is fun, no doubt about that. It's the song itself that's stupid, and yet there are people in my area who just listen to the song for the sake of listening to it. Like, they'll be studying or doing something in their room, and just be blasting Crank Dat Soulja Boy.

RE: Random Thoughts - Ominous - Dec. 14, 2007

I only tolerate it for its campy value as well (much like Party Like a Rock Star and songs similar to it). I blast it with friends and we all sing the chorus out loud (since we can't understand the garbled English from the verses), simply because it's hilarious, as well as amusing that:
a) people actually talk like this
b) people actually enjoy this kind of music
c) you can make money off of it

Though to be fair to Party Like a Rock Star, I do enjoy the beat.

This made me both happy and sad. Happy because it was one less thing to distract me from homework. Sad because now I have no /co/, /cm/, and /cgl/. Blargh.

Yay, finals are over!

No more /cgl/ Uncertain

RE: Random Thoughts - Tototototototo - Dec. 15, 2007

It's not gone for good, is it? I don't understand why everyone's so upset.

RE: Random Thoughts - Carina - Dec. 15, 2007

Personally I'm not so much upset as I'm now bored out of my mind. Though I have been reading up on the whole affair on ED. It looks like there might be legal trouble at the end of this, since the guys that hacked the site more or less stole it from moot, who was paying for it. Should be interesting. Chances are it'll be back some time next week, whenever moot gets back access to his account.

RE: Random Thoughts - PRINCEcharming - Dec. 15, 2007

4chan was dying after they fagged up /b/ and it got flooded with ytmnd'ers and kids from youtube.
Notice the supposed "hackers" left adverts up.
This is just a load of drama to try and get people interested again.

AND NOTHING OF VALUE WAS LOST.

RE: Random Thoughts - Blue - Dec. 15, 2007

diditforthelulz and lulz appears so many times on that reading it becomes funny

I need to get ideas costume ideas for my Hamlet video. I'm thinking of basing it off of Fire Emblem designs, but I want to see what else is out there.

RE: Random Thoughts - Kei - Dec. 15, 2007

I am legend....

Seeing it tomorrow lol

RE: Random Thoughts - Ominous - Dec. 15, 2007

Saw it just now.

An entertaining movie, I think. Nothing over the top amazing, but a solid entry.

RE: Random Thoughts - Alice - Dec. 15, 2007

I had a lovely day; met the boyfriend in Chichester (a really gorgeous old town with a beautiful cathedral) and met up with one of his best friends who I've met briefly before. He's an author and painter called Brian Fogarty (www.brianfogarty.com) and he gave me one of his books and signed it for me. Bless! Actually, one of the stories, 'The Weatherhouse', is dedicated to my boyfriend. Haha.

We went for a coffee in a trendy bar/pub/cafe and this bloke just strode up to us and went

"Ten minutes, yeah?!"
"Uh.. sorry?"
*points to his bag that's sitting on a chair*
"Oh. You want us to look after it?"
"Yeah, I'll only be ten minutes."
"Sure!"

He was gone for about... half an hour, so we came to the conclusion that there was a bomb inside and decided to piss off straight away. Just when we were about to leave, he came back, thanked Michael and Brian, turned to me and went

"AH! MARRY ME!"
"Uh, I'm alright actually thanks!"
"C'mon, you can do much worse than me! I've got a big mouth and lovely hands!"
"I'm sure you have, but I'll pass thanks *nervous laugh*"

So uh, yeah. Interesting day. The bitterly cold weather can suck my carp though.
