Beyblade X Anime General - Wizard - May. 17, 2023

The Beyblade X Anime has officially been announced. It will premiere in Japan in autumn 2023 and will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and it's affiliate networks. This means that with this new generation Beyblade is returning to TV. A trailer is available from the linked announcement below.

1. I hope Bugfilms or Bones is the studio that works on it.
2. I hope they never go back to the time halve episodes.

If it's okay to post general info about Beyblade X here, Saw on twitter that the names for the 3 previewed characters were revealed. Kazami Bird(the MC), Kamen X(the Kid with the blue helmet), and Nanairo Multi(new female character).

The teaser video was wild, but here’s what I’ve gathered. The MC is Kazami Bird, and uses Hellsscythe. Kamen X uses Dransword, and you can actually see his face in the teaser. It’s also on the back of Dransword’s back. Nanairo Multi uses Wizardarrow, but apparently she has a magician(?) alter ego that uses Knightsshield.

Personally, I hope it's not OLM. I wasn't a big fan of Burst's artwork in the later seasons after Cho-Z.

I can just get beyblade x takara tomy for 11$ at my local store because I live in japan another reason im proud to be japanese and live in yokohama WE GATEKEEPING TAKARA TOMY BLADES you gotta get 50$ resells from mall of toys

Singaporeans like me and other South-East Asian countries get it for cheap too lol, don't be weird around here. Beyblade is not restricted to Japan, like it or not. no one likes your attitude, and you'll probably get banned from WBO if you keep behaving like this 😇

Man, this series was mad confusing and misleading to me.

-I thought Dransword was going to be the MC's Bey since it was basically a mascot for Beyblade X. But it turns out it was the deuteragonist's (Kamen X) Bey.
-I also thought the kid with blond and green owned Dransword because of his dragon-scaled coat and his Dragon hair accessory. Also, it seemed like he was using Dransword to battle against the MC in the manga preview.
-I thought the MC (Kazami Bird) was going to own a Bird-themed Bey since his hair reminds me of an eagle. And he was using an Eagle-themed Bey to battle against the kid with the blond and green hair. But his Bey is actually Hellssycthe.

He's around my age so I wouldn't blame him. I too would feel privileged to not have to spend lots for spinning tops.

And so what? I’m 14 and I treat everyone with respect. Not everyone has the money to buy beys so the fact that he is acting rude, he absolutely has the right to be called out

Kamen X’s identity is actually on the green haired guy’s team.

This already has massive plot implications for the future, and makes me even more excited. Luckily, we only have a month left before chapter 1.

Gavi2009, please refrain from posting misleading/inappropriate messages. The products have not released yet so would not be available for purchase - even in Japan. If you did somehow obtain the Beyblades prior to official release, then simply trolling your fellow Bladers would be uncalled for and against community guidelines. Let's try to keep this thread focused and on topic. Thank you!

Oh this thread is here too, neat. Tl;dr of my thoughts the 3 characters we see have pretty cool designs, my favorite being Multi in her knightshield wielding outfit. Kamen X could've bought a better mask though, not a fan of it.

It's almost like a side character's bey of a previous gen which gets hyped becomes Main Bey (almost in all gen)(like no Valkyrie was in previous gens of burst).

Though it's again burst but still designs are more pointy and attack rings are made from metal.... This is the best part....

Hoping to get little more lower highted attack types with free spinning, rubber flat and metal flat tips.

Nanairo Multi...because of her multicoloured hair? Honestly, I needed a bit to get used to the designs. They didn't do much for me at first. My favourite though is probably the unmasked X.

Nanairo Multi maybe because she will get multi personnality ? She will get 2 Bey too.

Nanairo means the sevens prismatic colors, which refers to her colorful appearance. Multi could refer to either her multiple-colored appearance, multiple forms, or multiple Beyblades.
Might as well go over the names as well:

Bird Kazami: Bird is a reference to his bird themed appearance. His hair looks like feathers, and he even had a bird Bey at one point. Kazami means weather vane and weather vanes traditionally have birds on them.

Kamen X: Kamen means mask, and this is literally the masked version of X.

X Kurosu: Kurosu is Cross spelled out phonetically. Cross refers to 2 lines crossing over, like an X. So in a way, his name is literally X X.
