Random Booster for the 4th generation of Beyblade, "Beyblade X". Each Booster randomly contains one of six pre-determined Beyblades, with the prize pull being SharkEdge 3-60LF.
MSRP with tax is 1400 JPY per Booster. Releases on September 9th, 2023.

A purple, deadly looking (relatively) short attack type with a goofy-in-a-good-way gear chip design, how can you not love this bey. It's a shame it got the random booster prize treatment instead of the definitely worse knight lance.

The rest of the rb is solid too, a few bad recolors but Dran Sans and BX-06 ripoff is cool though 3 LF's and no regular F is odd. I was hoping I could make a stock Dran Sword out of the rest of the rb but oh well.

Hey, which this make Sharkedge, the third shark themed based beyblade in the franchise after Sharkrash (Plastic Gen) & Emperor Forneus (Burst Gen) except Pisces (Metal Gen) which is based on the twelfth Zodiac Constellation of the fishes with the face bolt showing a shark.

So in addition to the shape of High Needle on Knight Lance differing from regular Needle, more than just lowering the height on Low Flat they also removed the hole to increase speed at the cost of stamina.

The entire rb is a 50/50 imo. Shark Edge (normal), Dran Sans, and Knight Shield are all lovely beys but Cheese Edge, Hells Zombie, and Turd Arrow are all kinda medicore or bad. Still annoyed that I can't make a stock Dran Sword from the rb too. But oh well, Shark Edge (again normal) is a lovely bey that I 100% am going to try and get.


Also a bit of bonus news, the artist of the x manga themselves tweeted a colored image of Maiden and revealed her full name to be Meiko Maiden
