Looking to getting into Metal Fight. Any advice? - mrphuffles - Jul. 17, 2022

So i want to get into metal fight and i dont know what to get first. My main issue is finding a stadium. I've seen the standard stadiums watching bbg but the only one like it i can find is like 90 usd, which is far out of my budget but i can just use a hasbro burst stadium for now. But the main thing is i was wondering a good second pick, cause im thinking storm pegasus for the first due to the string launcher included. Thanks!

Metal fight has been out of print for 10 years and is plagued with midfakes, which seem functionally the same but you'd never really know. The plastic on legit parts is so old now that it's prone to breaking. Aside from the metal wheels, MFB was not built to last. Unless you have a bunch of people nearby to play MFB against, save your money.

If you decide to go down this route, determine what format your region plays, MFB MFL 4D or 0G. Buy based on that.

i mean burst is built significantly worse and they've held up 5-6 years and everyone on the discords telling me some of them have gotter more durable

MFB is bulletproof compared to Beyblade Burst, a series in which assembling a bey causes catastrophic wear to the locking mechanism, and which over time will become more and more unplayable due to the degrading of teeth on Layers and springs in Drivers. Save your money and buy into a cool legacy system, lol.

Anyway, to answer your question properly mrphuffles, the BB-10 is only going to get harder and harder to find these days, so you're either going to have to shell out big money for one or make do with a Burst Standard Type (which isn't ideal but is workable, in my experience rebounds aren't nearly so bad with MFB as they are with Burst). Beyblade-wise, I'd recommend either Lightning L-Drago or Earth Aquila, since LLD is the best left-spin attacker in MFL (and perhaps best attacker in MFL period) and Aquila comes with Earth and WD, which are both good parts to have. Those three plus Storm Pegasis will make a pretty good starting unit to build from.

I use to play mfb competitive in my elementary school so it’s definitely worth it. It might be expensive but in the end you got a beautiful collection. I still have my first bey ever which is a lightning ldrago from hasbro. I wish I kept my black sun sol blaze tho

MFB is so much fun. Stadiums are hard to get plus it is expensive right now. The only group I know of that still has a bunch and supports mfb tournaments would be the TexasBeybladeLeague. But, they only lend the beys out for tournaments though. If you really want to play with the metal fight then you should start a beyblade club at your school officially and use the school's club funding to pay for the clubs equipment (ie: beyblades and stadiums). That way you have some for you and others to play. Build a small mfb community in your area. That's my advice.

Beysandbricks sells all Midfakes though, even the ones that say Takara Tomy are midfakes. Midfakes are Tournament Legal but if you want the real thing then I recommend you buy from Ebay, I usually don't recommend Ebay but that's the only place that I know of that sells Real Authentic Metal Fight Beys. You should know what you're talking about before recommending it to someone, maybe this person isn't into midfakes, you probably should've known that they sell Midfakes and included that in your post.

Correction, most mfb on B&B are midfake, not all. Typically if they show the code of a product it will be real and ofc more expensive
