RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - Jinbee - Mar. 05, 2022 (Mar. 04, 2022 1:08 PM)p0l1w4g06 Wrote: Am I the only person who is backstabbed by Rashad? He felt so much like Ghostfreak's whole arc (now that you thnk abt it+Ben 10 nostalgia) To be honest, most of us saw his downfall coming eventually, he was built up to become the potential final opponent, and every final opponent in Burst (not counting Valt in Chouzetsu) are villainous or jerks in some way. Rashad does have a nice guy attitude at first, which makes him a bit more different, but being a major rival, he was either gonna be a Delta like character or the main "villain". I get what you mean, but I think for Ghostfreak, despite his freaky nature, we never expected them to become evil, as we weren't aware certain forms had their own mind. It's only when we look back on all the original series appearance of Ghostfreak where we sorta see hints and even bits of dialogue (where Ben as Ghostfreak always said stuff or acted way too out of character even for Ben) which foreshadowed him being something else. Burst was easier to see coming because it was following a somewhat strict story formula. RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - bey burst fan - Mar. 06, 2022 sigh... i dont know why people are saying the anime is ending only the manga is ending. they would have already announced the anime would be ending if it were to end, its pretty obvious thats there's going to be one last season. none of the staff have said anything that it is ending too. isnt it weird that they announced the manga is ending way before the final chapter? why aren't they doing that with the anime then if its ending? and i know people are going to prove it with leaks but i highly doubt they are real and im only going to believe its ending if they officially say something. none of the staff have specifically stated that it was ending you can go check for yourself never said the anime was coming to an end RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - KIO - Mar. 06, 2022 We'll probably know for sure in about a week's time. New season info is usually within the first two weeks of March. If nothing is announced, then there's probably no anime. I don't expect an ending announcement like the manga, which was long-running in the magazine, because that's simply not done for anime. It's not like when Shogun Steel ended, Takara Tomy made a big announcement that the Metal Series was ending. RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - bey burst fan - Mar. 06, 2022 i find it funny how basara and ranzo in the manga made their beys only to lose their first battle and like never battled again. basara ranzo and ilya got done dirty in the manga RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - Needforspeed - Mar. 06, 2022 BEYBLADE BURST DB MANGA REVIEW this is the last season for the burst manga starting with bell the demon king as the protagonist, will it surpass the previous emotional ride of sparking? Plot So the plot is all about bell challenging the world pretty straight forward Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - marutti - Mar. 06, 2022 Hiro Morita stop to wright beyblade burst. Director left. Shu's voice actor said beyblade burst anime is near to end(in 2021 September fan meeting interview) RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - Phantom legend - Mar. 06, 2022 The burst manga has had a pretty good run. I feel like the final chapter was a good way To send off the manga by saying that blading will live on through the hearts of the future generation bladers. It was also nice to see how the mc’s were shown with rivals and friends of their generation showing how blading truly connected others. Its also nice to see the og beyclub members again (mainly ken. Missed him) as well as wakyia showing off Jet for the first time in the manga and rantaro having cyclone. But So the story ends off with Bell claiming the title of the world champion while I believe Valt keeps the number 1 rank? i might be wrong but Isnt the title no longer tied to the ranking since the creation of the New ranking system? Since Aiga was world champion while Valt was the number 1 ranked? Since Valt was called the legend of legends in the final chapter. Aiger being World Champion while Valt held the Number 1 rank was only the case in the Surge anime. Valt was both in the manga. It was also nice to see how the mc’s were shown with rivals and friends of their generation showing how blading truly connected others. Its also nice to see the og beyclub members again (mainly ken. Missed him) as well as wakyia showing off Jet for the first time in the manga and rantaro having cyclone. I don't think that point about Valt is altogether accurate. From the very beginning of Burst, episode 1 in fact, he mentioned he wanted to be the best in the world so to say he never really cared about being Number 1 isn't really accurate. Yes Valt wanted to have fun while battling, but I think there's a misconception that Valt didn't care about or wasn't trying to reach the top. He was. It was his goal. Also I don't think the anime is going to end the same way given how they've structured things for these last few episodes. Episode 51 is Bell vs Rashad which will most likely last into episode 52 which has been the case for every single season since the beginning aside from Turbo but even then the battle with the antagonist lasted two episodes so I think we can expect the same here. Whoever wins that battle wins the tournament. There's literally not time for a battle with Valt. Now it's possible they could try to squeeze something in between Valt and Bell, but given how short these episodes are, I don't think its going to happen. Its possible but I don't think it will happen. So in the end I far prefer how the anime handled Valt's send off. The anime did a good job of honoring the character with a very good showcase in his final battle of Burst. Nicely done. In the first episode of the dub he literally states that “Me and Valkyrie will become the Strongest Team in the World” which is basically what the meaning of a World Champion is. He wanted to also have fun on his path to become the strongest so it wasn’t just a coincidence that he became the #1 Blader in the World. Everything he did in S1 and S2 was to propel him to become the Strongest in the World. The God Cup was to decide the strongest Blader on the planet so if Valt didn’t care about becoming the strongest then why would he even accept the invite? If I’m being honest, Valt deserves to be the #1 Blader which is why it ticked me off when Aiga just came in and stole that title from him. Valt’s Goal from the beginning was to become the Strongest. It wasn’t just accidental or a confidence or that he didn’t care, it was because he worked for his Goal everyday and learned from each battle he was in. Fun is first he even proves it after he had has match with Shu/red eye or against free Where he said this fun or Where he had fun against aiga even though he lost. If the fun factor isnt their then Valt wont like it. The final panel of the manga basically said so even after he lost to Bell he want back to Where everything started for him and have fun playing what he enjoys the most with friends that enjoyed it as well. Theirs more than winning an beyblade thats Hiro message Manga: The manga also did a good job, as it shows that blading is about having fun and connections with others, that blading will passed down through future generations and that the love for it will never disappear which is what Valt pretty much does which is symbolized by the final page of him saying “lets all blade together!”. kinda dont agree with the final all the way. I liked how the manga ended and ending message. But Valt losing the title felt a bit unneeded. Bells goal was never about the title, yet gains it. im ok with Valt losing But it felt random Since Bell and Valt dont have a rivalry that sets it up. Plus the final chapter was ultimates debut and Valt was training with his friends and Family’s To awaken Valkyrie just for him to lose like that. would have been better if it was left to interpretation to fit the message of its all about fun dont worry about the winner. But at the end win or lose Valt still keeps The Number 1 Ranking as the legend of legends and that no matter what Valt will always keep that title as he’s the worlds top/strongest blader and a inspiration to bladers all around. But i still overall like the ending of the manga as well. Yea thats a lot honestly wasnt expecting to type that much. There's was no reason for Valt and Bell to even battle. As you mentioned they didn't even really have a rivalry. Just a few tweaks (no Valt vs Bell battle, and especially no him getting the title) and this would have been perfect for me. I liked the ending scene with Valt at the bey club and seeing all the prior characters. So far the anime is giving Valt a far better send off imo. Valt still reclaiming it later. But this felt pointless. What’s the whole point of Valt regaining the title just for him to lose it again? Especially when there was no proper rivalry between the two to set that up. Thats why i agree with you about how the anime had a better send off for Valt. Had a great send off battle that shows Valt as “ the legend of legends” the worlds top blader and helps rashad in The process ending their rivalry. No unnecessary final battle with bell (hopefully) And on top of that Gets to keep the world champion title and number 1 ranking as “the legend of legends”. But the good thing about Valt in the manga is that he’s still the number 1 ranking blader in the world and that no matter what hes still “The Legend Of Legends” the worlds top/Strongest blader a title he earned through fierce battles with many rivals. And I guess if you wanna stretch things a bit Valt is most likely the world Champion again. since he most likely reclaimed the Champion title after the events of DB manga and since its the end of the manga everything is left up to interpretation at this point and on top of that Valt usually comes back stronger and on top after every loss.(Mar. 07, 2022 12:50 AM)Phantom legend Wrote: Anime: Yea the anime did pretty good at handling Valt’s send off.
