I thought so too, but the idea of being able to meet people in person to make a money transaction as opposed to ebay where everything is paid on a credit card makes for a much safer feel. Besides, it's pretty easy to pick out the scams.

bought this computer peripheral and the guy was sane [bit scruffy though haha]
and got a sweet deal on an green N64 with OoT
I definately posted about it last aug. or so
