RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Mage - Sep. 10, 2017 Satomb S3 XD lmao Anyways, where did u get that info from? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - bladebreaker25 - Sep. 10, 2017 Hasbro just announced at hasbrocon 2017 beyblade burst evolution aka "beyblade burst god" toy lineup but there is no release date yet for the US RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BlackSunProphet - Sep. 10, 2017 I bet the god chips are not removable RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Sep. 10, 2017 Guys, the proper way to share Zankye's exclusive content is to link to his videos, that should be common sense... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDSf3kcxakE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwbgrLbk0CE Also a free QR code that was distributed at Hascon that gives a Beyblade in the app game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwPzHiVBEZk RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kei - Sep. 10, 2017 Here's the video for anyone who hasn't seen it: (Sep. 10, 2017 2:21 PM)BlackSunProphet Wrote: I bet the god chips are not removable That's exactly what I was thinking. The design seems to have been modified and I don't see indents anywhere to use the tool or a Driver to twist/remove them. Otherwise, they don't appear too bad aesthetically. But we'll have to see what changes exactly have been made ... Also, love the snot green Drain Fafnir recolour; classic Hasbro move. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Suzaku-X - Sep. 10, 2017 (Sep. 10, 2017 4:28 PM)Kei Wrote: Here's the video for anyone who hasn't seen it: Strangely enough, Green dF does not appear to have rubber exposed, and if you look really close, it has 7 as the disc. There's no mistaking the design. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Sep. 10, 2017 My bet is that the God Chips cannot be removed or customised or that you can remove them by popping it upwards. The reason they probably didn't make God Chips like the TT one was likely because the slopes on Hasbro beyblades have a thick part underneath the teeth, which leaves practically no room for both the God Chip or driver to fit in, unless the God Chips were made much shorter. That seems fine to me but if there's anything I wish they changed is those god awful opaque bright coloured chips. I'm somewhat optimistic for these Beyblade Burst Evolutions, I do appreciate the mostly show accurate colours, but I bet the drivers will just be opaque again. These won't replace the TT counterparts for me by a long shot but I will pick them up. I also see D2LO... so why didn't Hasbro just make Orbit before?! It can't be because of cost reasons because it's a simple mechanic using mostly plastic parts. I'm pretty sure Press uses more plastic. Oh well at least we got it. I guess they also kept L2 with the metal heads so yay! The new packaging looks way more appealing, less cheap and bland. Oh and a snot green Fafnir, just why Hasbro? Is Hasbro seriously trying to make stupid colour schemes on purpose now? Well thankfully there is a more show accurate dF. One thing about green dF that bugs me is that the rubber doesn't seem to be there, at least I can't see it. The section where the rubber is meant to be looks plastic. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Sep. 10, 2017 The other Beyblades seem so unchanged that I would believe those are actually straight from TAKARA-TOMY and Hasbro has not had time to recolour them yet, honestly. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Sep. 10, 2017 (Sep. 10, 2017 4:37 PM)Kai-V Wrote: The other Beyblades seem so unchanged that I would believe those are actually straight from TAKARA-TOMY and Hasbro has not had time to recolour them yet, honestly. I would've also believed it was all from TT had it not been for the God Chips and some certain ugly god chip colours. All the green does is make stock dF seem even more like a modern Einstein MS... Sprung tips with similar shapes, studded and heavy metal rings, even the attacking pieces are fairly similar, lol. I'd be inclined to agree if the bars keeping the faux-Godchips in place weren't visible on sX and Jinnius, haha. So I guess Switchstrike is the new Hyperblades? The new LR Light Launchers in the battle set and the gV, dF, tW, and bR starters and the lack of them in the A2 and L2 starters make me think they'll be exclusive to Switchstrike beys. It's nice to see Hasbro learning from it's mistakes and not being complete trash when handling gimmicks. All the God Layers have their gimmicks intact too, it seems. Also, looking at the videos closely, the very bottom shelf looks like it has repackaged Horusood and Roktavor R2 boosters, as well as those Caynox/W2 and X2/Y2 packs. I think I can also see a repackaged Treptune/N2 pack down there? Hasbro did the same thing in early Metal Masters and Metal Fury, so I guess it's not surprising, haha. I really like that they went with Genesis Valtryek. Genesis is probably the coolest sounding out of all the G-words they could have went with. I'm not a fan of how they put the V3 at the end of it. It'll only confuse kids who don't understand the names of the tops even more, haha. I'm surprised they kept Fafnir, too. Satomb, while dumb, was expectable. Fafnir staying intact either means that the name of a cool mythological thing has never been trademarked before or that the stupid excuse of "they need to change the names to sell them" is finally dead. (if they needed to trademark the names, how did they get away with making the names *less* original during Shogun Steel?) Hopefully this means they won't butcher the rest of the new names. I could live without the "?3" at the end of the names though... with the Dual Layers, "?2" made a smidge of sense since that was the part initial in TT's release. There's no 3 in any of the God Layer initials though! Hasbro will be Hasbro I guess... but at least this initial lineup isn't as depressing as the first series. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Real_ilinnuc - Sep. 10, 2017 Lol was my post about zankye just blatantly removed? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Sunburnninja - Sep. 10, 2017 Hasbro really stepped up on their boxes, it really makes me feel like im still buying mfb beys, the old boxes were just so plain and boring, the new launcher are still relative junk, but the string launcher looks so similar to the takara RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jimmyjazz39 - Sep. 10, 2017 can anyone tell what the two pack behind Wyvron W3 is? for some reason it looks like mG and U2 idk RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Sep. 10, 2017 (Sep. 10, 2017 6:08 PM)Real_ilinnuc Wrote: Lol was my post about zankye just blatantly removed? Yeah, it's for the best. Probably so drama doesn't start again. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - cosmicstriker - Sep. 10, 2017 Some of the beys, like Legend Spriggan and Blast Jinnius are probably just takara beys put out as a teaser since the final design might not be out yet. I think SwitchStrike is just the hasbro version of God Abilities, which doesnt really make sense for most beys. Overall nice improvements and I cant wait until Fall 2044 for them to show up at my local Wal-Mart. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Sep. 10, 2017 Hasbro's tweet about the Evolution lineup https://twitter.com/HasbroNews/status/906912806771052544 Here's the image itself: ![]() There appears to be a non-Switchstrike bey behind L2, the red Beylauncher is an individual product, and there's a new 2-Pack with a red U2 and a yellow Beyblade. There's also a Balance booster behind the P2/D2LR pack and another booster behind the X2/Y2 pack, and the repackaged Horusood booster is easier to make out. Also, can I just say how much better the packaging for Evolution is than the first series? The added shades of blue make the packaging much more interesting. Poor D2 though... at least Ragnaruk can live another day without getting #Ragnarekt RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Mage - Sep. 10, 2017 I really don't get what SwitchStrike is supposed to be The only thing I can think of that's related is Genesis Valkyrie's God Ability RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Makoto16 - Sep. 10, 2017 (Sep. 10, 2017 7:13 PM)Mage Wrote: I really don't get what SwitchStrike is supposed to beSwitchStrike are god beys. But W3 and F3 and the other evolutiom beys have it RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Sunburnninja - Sep. 10, 2017 I just noticed luinor's L launcher is red, I just hope they are gonna release more differently colored launchers. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Sep. 10, 2017 If it weren't for the name at the beginning like "Satomb S3", then S3 will be really weird and awkward alongside S3 for Legend Spriggan. It's bad enough we used to believe Kreis Satan was Legend Spriggan.
