RE: Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts - Zeutron - Jul. 01, 2021 (Jul. 01, 2021 6:53 AM)g2_ Wrote:(Jul. 01, 2021 6:05 AM)ScarletTurbo44 Wrote: No, Valt wouldn't just outright WRECK Aiga, they would fairly even in a battle currently. Plus Valt got wrecked by Lane pretty badly himself so don't pretend it only happened to Aiga.Valt most definitely did not get wrecked by Lane, it was a very close battle. Aiga was obliterated quickly. Plus Valt took out Lucifer The End and World Spriggan in the Tag team tournament with freaking Rantaro on his side. ¨Plus Valt took out Lucifer The End and World Spriggan in the Tag team tournament with freaking Rantaro on his side.¨ Honestly, people really highball this feat to ridiculous heights. Valt and Rantaro had been constantly bashing Lane throughout that battle to the point where Lucifer was wobbling and heavily offset (this was even stressed in the anime) after that, Lane had to use up his limit break special move to take out Rantaro (while in his weakened state) and Valt still had to catch Lane off guard with a special move while-lastly, Lane did not even counter with a special move of his own putting him at a massive disadvantage. Valt beat Lane by attacking him whilst he was; caught completely off guard by a surprise attack, in a heavily worn down and weakened state, out of his resource due to using up his limit break and by attacking him with a special move while Lane did not counter with a move (or any attack) of his own. The ridiculous amount of handicaps in this victory make it pretty clear that Valt hardly took Lane out. He may have beat Shu, but he won by half a second and this is the same battle where Shu straight up tanked a tag move from Valt and Rantaro. Valt is my favourite character and all but please, don't overplay his actual skill. Plus Lucifer was regaining power when Lane activated the avatar. Valt beat him when he had the free spinning ring, that's much more impressive than simply beating Lucifer The End. Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training.(Jul. 01, 2021 6:53 AM)g2_ Wrote: Valt most definitely did not get wrecked by Lane, it was a very close battle. Plus Lucifer was regaining power when Lane activated the avatar. Valt beat him when he had the free spinning ring, that's much more impressive than simply beating Lucifer The End. Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training. Valt and Rantaro both beat Lane, it was an absolute team effort, Valt stood no chance on his own. Also, it was arguably pretty easy to conserve stamina when him and Rantaro were knocking Lane into complete submission, Valkyrie sustained almost no strain since Lucifer couldn't really fight back (and Shu did not really attack Valkyrie until later). Shu tanking synchro lightning (a move that eliminated both Free and Silas at once) would cause far more stamina loss and damage. ¨Plus Lucifer was regaining power when Lane activated the avatar.¨ Lucifer did not regain power, beys dont regain their spin velocity when they call out their avatars or activate resonance, Lucifer simply moved into a stable position in order to use limit break the end. Hyuga did he exact same thing with Hyperion in the legends festival and Hyperion did not regain power, just slightly increased its stability and held out long enough. Besides, even if I were to go by that logic, there are still multiple other handicaps that devalue the feat. ¨Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training.¨ Shu beat Lane in a simple training battle, that really doesn't mean much at all. If Valt truly could have beat Lane in a 1v1 he wouldn´t have needed 4 different advantages. ¨Valt beat him when he had the free spinning ring, that's much more impressive than simply beating Lucifer The End.¨ It isn't ¨much more impressive¨ when considering the fact that the ¨limit break the end¨ move would demolish Valt if Lane had that resource. Besides, Lucifer had next to no energy left due to being heavily weakened so it really did not matter anyway. Valt won't lose to it. Just like Storm Spriggan suddenly got more stamina in episode 49. Lucifer did the same. Valt is better than Lane and Shu, period.(Jul. 01, 2021 8:09 AM)g2_ Wrote: At the end of the day he beat Lane and Shu with Rantaro, he had enough stamina to beat World Spriggan after beating Lucifer The End. In the end none of this stuff regarding Lain and Valt matters, especially given that we've moved beyond Sparking now. Some people believe he was stronger than Valt in sparking, others believe Valt was, can't we leave it at that? In addition, regardless of how one feels about that, it's irrelevant now given that it was stated in DB that Valt is the world's strongest blader. Officially confirmed fact, and that's all there really is to it. All in all there's no need to go back and forth. One person has their view of strength in sparking and another has their view. Lane took virtually all of Valt's attacks unscathed and he was even laughing at one point; heck, Lane didn't even get serious until the final round whereas Valt was serious since the start of the match and as soon as Lane got real himself he clapped Valt with very little effort -- Lane won the first and last rounds to Valt's one, it wasn't very close at all; Valt just kept attacking and didn't gain any ground until the second round -- only, Lane was basically unscathed the whole battle. It's all good my friend, but at the end of the day, Valt is the legend of the legends. Aiga and Lane are great but Valt is better. And Lane was most definitely serious in his battle against Valt, it was super close. Valt even took a point from him. And then he beat Lane and Shu with a weak partner. There's a reason why Lane was so salty about losing to Valt in episode 49, cuz Valt kicked his carp fair and square. I didn't get the impression that Lane was salty after losing? His flared literally started getting purified while watching Valt and Shu battle, which was right after him losing. If he was salty, I'd expect his flare to get corrupted further, just like it happened after Lane vs Shu. He was watching the two with amazement, which makes it clear that he gained respect for both Valt and Shu. I could imagine it now: Valt, Free, Basara, Rashad, and Delta being the new team of BC Sol!!!! They would be an unstoppable and kinda broken team. When you think about it the team is already kinda unstoppable. This team has four Blading Legends. You have Valt, the world's strongest blader who's number 1 in the world, Free, a fellow member of the Big Five alongside Valt. Two more Blading Legends in Silas and Rantaro. In addition to that you have other strong bladers like Kit and Cuza. It's no surprise their still the world's top team. I think Basara would fit in there not due to strength, but because I think he'd grow well there, and I just see him fitting in with the squad. I can imagine Valt and Free taking him under their wing. I can see him growing leaps and bounds at BC Sol. Nope. Sparking manga prove that he is in BC Sol. Plus Shu already beat Lucifer The End too, in the same episode in the training. Avatar doesn't matter. Valt won't lose to it. Just like Storm Spriggan suddenly got more stamina in episode 49. Lucifer did the same. Valt is better than Lane and Shu, period. Yes DB Valt is the stronger than Shu and Lane, I am talking about Sparking Valt. Sparking Valt couldn't even survive 2v1 scenarios while Lane could AND did all on his own, that alone is enough to disprove the whole ¨Valt is better¨ theory. ¨Limit break the End couldn't even take out Hikaru in the final battle.¨ Alright, you got me there, but in that same battle Lane survived the limit break twin impact while Valt and Rantaro ended up losing even after they used a tag move to counter break impact. ¨Just like Storm Spriggan suddenly got more stamina in episode 49.¨ Even so, Spriggan clearly did not gain any type of completely revitalizing boost seeing as Longinus and Spriggan were basically worn out around the same time by the end of the battle. Similarly, Lane would still be incredibly weakened even after regaining energy and it would be hard to say that he even did regain any type of velocity seeing as we only see Lucifer restabilize for about 2 seconds before the spin motion stopped to showcase limit break the end. I'm not really joining in on this debate, but just to add some info that may have been overlooked or perhaps unknown. In the sub it's revealed that Lucius only survived Twin Break Impact because Spryzen took all of the force of the attack.
