RE: Winning Combinations. - Bey Brad - Aug. 10, 2015 Metal Dranzer was always pretty good but overlooked! I was surprised and happy to see it at the event. Quote:TBH I've never understood why 10bBistool isn't used in Left Spin, because it would reduce recoil and increase Stamina (late game Spin Equalization against most things). Probably because its base is right spin only, and its magic is lost if you use an SG base. That said, come on, this wasn't a hardcore competitive event. I played with a Dragoon G with a broken EG and a standard winder. The three who won had good combos and played well, but it's not like they were playing in a tournament that looked anything like it would have during the actual Plastics metagame. God, I kinda hope left spin never comes back. Spin stealers are cool in theory but really boring in practice. As for the WBO processing plastics and HMS events, I'm kinda in it with Kai-V. It's prohibitively expensive for most players and tournaments will be inevitably full of filler that isn't actually that good, but is all that is available. Not really a super competitive atmosphere, and it's a lot of work for the WBO to support events with such little activity. RE: Winning Combinations. - Dracomageat - Aug. 10, 2015 Metal Dranzer's AR is good for endurance too, I find it works great on Gaia Dragoon V's base as an attack/tornado stalling combo. Oh, I edited my post with the list of winning combinations since : War Lion, hah. RE: Winning Combinations. - Dracomageat - Aug. 10, 2015 Lol, that's a completely different part. RE: Winning Combinations. - Bey Brad - Aug. 10, 2015 (Aug. 10, 2015 6:24 PM)Dracomageat Wrote: Lol, that's a completely different part. Well, they both have war-related names :') RE: Winning Combinations. - Kai-V - Aug. 10, 2015 And they were both red, to my defense hah. I also thought I had seen a clear difference between other War Lion Attack Rings that I had and it, but in the end, not really. RE: Winning Combinations. - Sun - Aug. 11, 2015 Plastics/HMS should be just for fun, of course not ranked because their discontinued products and no one has them. Also Kai-V you had a tiger defense attack ring in your bag...it was blue i believe lol...i was wondering why you didn't use it. RE: Winning Combinations. - loyd87 - Aug. 11, 2015 I agree with that too! hah! just bad we have made this tournament one year too late hah! probably I will owned this tournament with what i got in the pass ![]() RE: Winning Combinations. - Dracomageat - Aug. 11, 2015 Tiger Defenser and War Lion are roughly equivalent. The free spinning aspect takes the force out of some hits but also allows for contact points below the stationary blades if the moving ones position themselves wrong. Both are amazing ARs. I dunno, even speaking as someone who doesn't own any of these, I could understand that if these tourneys were now unranked, it would make the people who have worked hard and spent possibly thousands to build up a plastic/hms collection pretty mad and would be unfair to them RE: Winning Combinations. - loyd87 - Aug. 11, 2015 actualy they are Unranked RE: Winning Combinations. - Bey Brad - Aug. 11, 2015 I don't think a plastics or HMS tournament hosted by the WBO has ever been ranked. RE: Winning Combinations. - Zoroaste - Aug. 11, 2015 Oh I see. RE: Winning Combinations. - Wombat - Aug. 17, 2015 Yes 1234beyblade won Plastics! Please tell me the final matchup was the Zombie vs. G Upper. And I'm assuming LMAO used Upper Attack as his SP (So a stock Driger V2)? RE: Winning Combinations. - Bey Brad - Aug. 17, 2015 Congrats 1234! Keep it up! RE: Winning Combinations. - LMAO - Aug. 17, 2015 Yup, a stock Driger V2, it went 5-1 when I used it, my other losses coming from different combos. Wish we had more people that were competitive in Plastics in Toronto, it would make Plastics 10x more fun. (DSiks, where are you). I actually used the Tiger Defender combo haha. But i used the Zombie most of the time! Thanks for the help! As you can see it payed off haha. RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Aug. 17, 2015 That Whale Attacker combo is such a joke hahaha. I love it. Happy that the one time I used it I was able to defeat 1234beyblade (even though I sacrificed one of my Whale Attackers in the process). ![]() (Aug. 17, 2015 2:12 AM)LMAO Wrote: Yup, a stock Driger V2, it went 5-1 when I used it, my other losses coming from different combos. I swear, one of the three placers at every Toronto Plastics Format event uses a stock Driger V2 for almost all of their matches. Yeah, where were you @[DSiks]?! Sorry that we forgot to tell you directly about the event ...
