But we played on one of those closed-off/fake beystadiums, so L Drago knocked them and they just bounce back in. :<

I should mention that I was struggling against a normal Earth Aquila...

Good to hear that your back to Beyblading again! Wink

Did you use MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF?
And struggling against Earth Aquila 145WD... Did you use the Banking (or to a further extent, the Sliding) Shoot?
There are also many factors that affect the battle. For an attack type to fail, the most likely cause is not only the Blader's skill but also the stadium. If the stadium you battled on today is not steep enough, Attack type Beys will not achieve their full potential.
Also, did you use MF L LDrago CH120RF correctly? When facing a 145 height Bey, use CH120 in its 145 height. When facing a Bey with a height lower than 145, use CH120 in its 120 height.

It seems like you had fun today! Joyful_2

And the list goes on and on. Beyblades are found nearly everywhere in HK(but beware of fakes).
Hopefully, XDBeyblades, you have shown your mom Ellz's awesome guide.

Can you answer my 1st question?+ its XDBeyblade no XDBeyblades

Yes, I used a MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF since I bought the MF and RF today.
You're probably right in terms of skill and the stadium.

I also wanted to ask if its normal for CH120 to change height by itself? It seemed abit loose after a few strong hits.

It is pretty normal for that to happen after a few strong hits/impacts. In fact, that happened to me a lot of times, haha.

Yes, there is a toy department in Wonderland Superstore.
Haha, sorry about getting your name wrong. Pinching_eyes_2

Don't you guys ever find it hard to bank when there are two other launchers above the stadium?
I was too hesitant to, since it was pretty cramped in my opinion.

Those ripcords ain't helping either (got two cuts on my left index finger).
Then again, don't you usually have only two players at a time? Tongue_out

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tounaments, news, etc.) - Kai-V - May. 17, 2010

A note : this topic was opened for Hong Kong beybladers to express their location and their interest in a tournament, but in no way is that supposed to isolate the Hong Kong 'community' from the rest of the community. You should not be having so many discussions in this thread, especially in English ... We already have some topics that serve this purpose, or you could simply chat amongst each other.

Haha, it's normal for you to find Banking hard in a cramped area. I used to have trouble too. But once you get used to the cramped area, you'll start to get good at different shooting techniques in different environments.
So play more Beyblade, get more experience and you'll be a skilled Blader in no time. Wink

Also, learn to use different types of Beys (Stamina and Defense). Different types of Beyblade have different launching techniques, it's good to know them all. (eg. Launch Defense types at about 70-80% of your normal launch power to stop it from moving around the stadium so much)

Ah, sorry about that Kai-V. Pinching_eyes

Yeah we did get kinda off-topic in this thread... Tongue_out

Speaking of tournaments and all, my question about any upcoming tournaments haven't been answered.

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tounaments, news, etc.) - Diamond - May. 19, 2010

I was looking around the WBO Map to see what place is the best to host a tournament at. I think North Point will be a pretty suitable since most WBO HK Bladers shouldn't take too long to go there.

However, what we really need is a place to host the tournament at, so North Point is just an area that is most 'convenient' to go to.
Any suggestions on where to host the tournaments (Specific)? (Can be anywhere in HK but hopefully members do not have to travel too far.)

This is just some planning on where to host the tournaments so that when we really feel like hosting one, we (hopefully) won't need to fuss about it too much. Wink

Are you calling the member from HKBBC to join the WBO or tournament? (I hope you do realize I'm not hosting a tournament yet. I'm just planning the area beforehand.)

RE: [Hong Kong, Asia] Hong Kong Bladers (Discussion for tounaments, news, etc.) - silverlight - May. 20, 2010

this is what i'm going to do
1. called them to join WBO
2. they can join the tournament later

For sure, the HK Blader community on the WBO is growing strong. Especially with the availability of Beyblades over there, I really hope you guys have some sick events soon. :]

its uh... fine, I'd say.
I traded lots of stuff there:
cyber pegasis -> virgo + ch120 + sd + earth mold 2 + red metal face
quetz (gold) -> Libra mold 2 + bull + Metal Sharp
$100+ cyber pegasis + Unicorno -> legend pisces and secret aries
$100 -> brand new Libra Mold 1
Most of my trades are just too good to be true
I guess most kids there aren't too bright
because all the blades that come with games (gold quetz, cyber peg and whatever leon)
cost me less than 100 HKD for each
Oh and I bought a burn pisces gold version for $200
too bad you bought nothing back diamondclimax

Did you use a Modified HMS Dual Launcher (with MFB prongs)?
Also, did you bring a metal suitcase thing to the carnival?
no I didn't use a hms launcher nor a metal case
but I know those ppl who who modified their blades
one of the most respected one is called shing, who is a super collector
he bought a blue pheonix for 1600HKD
This dude used motor launchers and super zombie blades
his zombie blades could even beat my 230grams scorpio mold.

Do you guys know any codes?
