Yeah but eventually they go too far and kill it. Examples:
WoW after they made gear for honor points when they removed ranks and TBC in general.
Pokémon after they made Ruby and Sapphire they made just another pokemon game and killed it. Not too bad because people count it as an altogether new series but they were milking it for money which was really bad.
Yugioh after they made GX and all the crappy overpowered cards and limited all the good ones from old sets.
Of course, there are cases where they go over things enough times to get them RIGHT so it's not a general rule. e.g. GBA to GBA SP to GB Micro they perfected it the third time (by which time it was sorta too late but they still got there
)All I'm saying is, this stuff happens. What the companies need to do is get reviews BEFORE it goes on the market and play the game by their customer feedback.

You provided video games as examples, which aren't so great as examples.
If you had mentioned the systems they play on then I might agree with you a little more, but I think you have things a little mixed up. Your original statement and your explanation aren't matching up.

Also i didnt know by "breaking" you meant it going free spinning. I knew it was illegal, but i thought the screw was loose. My salamalyon one did that.

I mentioned GBA SP etc. didn't I? I just happen to know a lot about video games therefore I can easily use them as examples.
My original statement is that companies go too far with products and kill them by it.
Ending statement was "if it's not broken don't fix it." those link easily.
Most of my explanations go to show that companies do go too far and make it rubbish. I gave an exception to show what great companies can do when they listen to their fans and consumers. This is what all companies should be like.
